OMG this was a really nice space to use. Rebekah is super consistent with communication and she responds quickly. I was allowed to use lights and props which made things much easier for me. I didn’t even need to bring as much equipment as I did. Will definitely use this space again.

Margaret was very accommodating; some parking restrictions and time clarifications were the only caveats prior to the shoot and once we got on location, otherwise great space!

Pros and Cons of Kitchen Spaces in Houston

Even Houston has its pros and cons. It does not matter what city you choose anywhere in the world; no city is perfect in every way. It pays to check out the advantages and disadvantages of choosing Houston for your kitchen space before finalizing any deals.

Advantages

  • Warm winters
You should not need your snow boots or gloves in Houston because even if it does flurry a bit, it will melt quickly. The average high temperature in winter in Houston is 61 degrees F.

  • Low cost of living
Another thing you don’t have to worry about is sticker shock. No matter where you come from, you will notice that the price of just about anything is reasonable. For example, the average price of a fast-food meal is under $10 per person, and you will pay about $5 for a bottle of beer.

  • Entertainment
Houston has a plethora of nightclubs, dining options, and other attractions to enjoy while you are in town. Whether you want to hang out in the park or stroll through an art gallery, you will find it in Houston.

Disadvantages

  • Hot summers
While the winters are warm, the summers are extremely hot at times. The average high temperature in the summer is 90 degrees F so be sure to pack sunscreen and shades.

  • Traffic is horrible
Because the population is so high and 91% of the population uses their own vehicle to get around, the traffic at rush hour is brutal in certain areas. Try to avoid the main highways and roads in the early morning and late afternoon.

  • High crime rate
The crime rate in Houston is 56 per 1,000 people so you should stick to the safer neighborhoods in town, like Houston Heights, Dogwood Acres, and Meyerland.

  • Houston Zoo

Some of the more popular exhibits include the African Forest with its rhinos, giraffes, and gorillas as well as the Carnivores with cheetahs, leopards, African wild dogs, and black bears. It is a fantastic place to spend the day.
