About Philadelphia

Mention Philadelphia and it conjures up images of the Declaration of Independence and the Liberty Bell. Colloquially known as Philly, the city houses an estimated 1.6 million residents who add character to the already special place. Its rich history, central location, and knack for not following the masses make Philadelphia a true gem.

The American Obesity Association ranked Philly in their list of top 10 overweight cities for six years consecutively. It's all down to the abundance of irresistible culinary dishes, and cheesesteaks, in particular, are a favorite in the region. The area experiences hot and muggy summers, moderately cold winters, and mild springs and falls.

Philly is also known for modesty, but that doesn't mean there aren’t exciting and fun moments to enjoy within the city. Selections of Philadelphia rooftop venues are waiting for your upcoming event booking.

Rooftop Options in Philadelphia

Ranked as the sixth-most populous U.S. city, the Philly skyline is marked by several high-rise buildings. Comcast Technology Center, One Liberty Place, and the BNY Mellon Center are some of the tallest buildings in the city. With such stunning views of the city to behold, it only makes sense to consider a rooftop venue in Philadelphia for your next gathering.

  • Decorations

Rooftop venues range from terrace and deck options, but they all seem to have a laidback and cozy vibe. Unless the occasion calls for a grand and colorful celebration; rooftops don't require too much dressing up. Decorative lighting pieces usually do the trick and also add a magical touch to the area.

  • Tent Rentals

Outdoor event venues in Philadelphia are great options for summer functions, and the same applies to rooftop locations. With the city experiencing precipitation throughout the year, it's best to settle for a rooftop venue with some shade. Party and tent rental companies in Philadelphia have you covered.

  • Catering

A rooftop gathering, like any other themed event, requires a befitting menu. Philadelphia is known for its cheesesteaks, roast pork sandwiches, and soft pretzels. These are all tasty treats worth including in your menu, and when working with a Philadelphia caterer guarantees an array of finger-licking meals to serve at the rooftop event.

  • Entertainment

The summer breeze, a chilled beverage in hand, and live music playing in the background are some of the markers of a great rooftop event. Music has mood-setting abilities and that's why it's an important part of all celebratory gatherings. Philly doesn't disappoint in this regard with a breadth of neighborhoods providing diverse dancing and dining experiences.

  • Photography

It would be such a shame to gather friends and family at a beautiful Philadelphia rooftop venue without sending them off with photographic keepsakes. Instead of just hiring a professional to document the occasion, include a photo booth for guests to snap Instagram-worthy pictures.
