Featuring nearly 18,000 square feet of flexible design space, including an 11,000 square-foot majestic theatre, the historic Wiltern Theatre is not only an icon of Los Angeles entertainment glamour, but also one of the finest examples of Art Deco architecture in the United States. Part rock venue, part historic theatre, The Wiltern offers four unique spaces from the grand Main Lobby and Theatre to the more intimate Underground Lounge and Backstage, creating an atmosphere to bring your dream events to life.
MAIN LOBBY & ROTUNDA
Set beneath the theatre’s famous rotunda cove ceiling and chandelier, The Wiltern’s 6,000 square-foot Main Lobby can transform with ease from a cocktail reception to an elegant wedding to the entrance for a rock and roll show. Step and repeats, photo booths, merchandise tables and sponsorship activations typically find home in the Main Lobby, where banners can easily be hung from our rotunda balcony, making the space optimal for branding and logo activation. Three lobby bars offer creative cocktails, and our Main Street reception area allows custom caterers to set up tables for buffet-style dining or host cocktail tables for tray pass.
Adorned with gold-framed action shots of The Wiltern headliners, the Underground Lounge offers an elegant backdrop for intimate parties and VIP installations. Featuring a private bar, as well as space for up to 15 cocktail tables, the Underground Lounge establishes a peaceful haven amid an otherwise bustling rock and roll venue. Guests may arrive via the venue’s private parking garage, and stairs from the Underground Lounge lead up to the Main Lobby.
THEATRE AND STAGE
The breathtaking 11,000 square-foot theatre features five tiered levels, including Loge and Mezzanine sections with vintage red velvet theatre seats and an open floor (with no stationary seats) that can be configured for virtually any set up, including receptions for up to 650 guests and banquets for 450. With a grand 55 foot-wide stage, surrounded by stunning rose, green and gold painted interiors, the large theatre boasts excellent acoustics to ensure the quality of your event’s sound plays a paramount role in the experience.
BACKSTAGE AT THE WILTERN
Part the velvet rope and head Backstage at The Wiltern for VIP receptions, press interviews and meet and greets. Our 60-person green room provides an inviting backdrop for cocktail parties, with a large catering area for custom dining and drinks. Lavish headliner dressing rooms allow corporate execs, brides or even pampered rock stars to relax and get ready in style.

Tree Loft: DTLA Creative/Office Space
This is a beautiful downtown creative space. The interior is 4,000 square feet with big industrial skylights that let in lots of natural light and is decorated with classic mid-century furniture throughout. The space is flexible with many different looks and areas that offer a variety of options and can be easily setup to meet your needs.
Attached is a New York City style rooftop with a dramatic city view offering another 4,000 square feet of flexible space and a variety of looks (listed under a separate listing, with a package deal available).
There is a kitchen with refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster oven, microwave, water cooler, etc and Wifi. Multiple pods are available that can be used for hair/makeup and clients/cast. The space has two private bathrooms (no shower) and is fully equipped with two ACs, ceiling fans and heating, with ample 110v outlets on separate circuits.
It is available 24/7, with street level access during business hours and 24 hour access through the back alley for crew and loading. Both entrances require a flight of steps. There is NO ELEVATOR so please inform your crew. We’re on a commercial street so noise is not an issue. The space itself is quiet and offers good sound recording conditions.
We’re happy to accommodate scouting. A walk-through is required before and after all bookings for L&D and insurance is required.
PARKING: We can arrange for validated parking at a nearby 24 hour lot at a discounted rate of $9/day per vehicle.
The space is also available as a production office and editing facility.

- Main Stage (1550sq ft including stage and bar areas) -> Stage (Upright Piano, Drums, Microphones), Sound Stage, Bar with Cocktail Seating, French inspired bent wood tonet Chairs and Bistro tables for Seating (the tables and chairs can be moved into any other room and the outside patio). The Main Stage has access to a marble tiled bathroom.
-Second Stage (700sf including stage and bar areas) -> Stage (Drums, Microphones), Sound Stage, Bar with Cocktail Seating, French inspired bent woof Tonet Chairs and Bistro tables for Seating (the tables and chairs can be moved into any other room and outside patio). The second stage has access to a restroom and the outside patio.
The piano cannot be moved off the Main Stage unless movers are hired.
All stage lighting being moved must be approved in advance.
Any haze must be water-based.
Lounge/ Entrance Area- (700 sq sf) > A beautiful decor with mirrors and floor to ceiling velvet curtains framing the room. Leather booth and chairs are on the right side of the room, a back bar on the left. The room has access to both stages and a handicap marble tiled restroom.
Greenroom (160 sq sf) -> Long hardwood Starck benches with leather details. The room has access to the Lounge Room and Main Stage.
Outside Patio (750 sq sf) -> Framed in Podocarpus hedges and string lights for a nice ambient light. Furniture can be moved to the outside for events and shoots.

Since we are an operating music venue the hours are from 5am- 5pm Monday- Sunday.
