I do event planning so I’ve seen and rented quite a few locations for baby showers over the years. Phillip’s place is hands down my go to space from now on though. Plenty of parking, a spacious open layout, modern decor, covered patio with plenty of seating. The garden is gorgeous and acts as the perfect backdrop for photos.

About Baby Shower

A new baby on the way calls for a celebration. Whether it’s the first child or a new sibling for your other children, you’ll want to celebrate it in a unique and fun way through a baby shower. It’s an exciting time for friends and family to get together, express their joy at the arrival of a new baby, and send good wishes to the expectant parents.

Traditionally, baby showers are held at the future mother’s home or the host’s. But the entire preparation, setting up, and after-party cleanup can be daunting for the new parents. After all, the last thing you’d want when the party is over is to deal with the mess and declutter your place.

Fortunately, there are many available baby shower locations you can easily book for the big day. These include hotels, restaurants, parks, and banquet halls. Not only can you avoid the cleanup situation, but unique spaces allow you to throw an impactful and memorable event.

The Best Baby Shower Venues

A baby shower doesn’t have to be an expensive and luxurious affair. But if you book the right venue, it can be one of the most stylish celebrations you’ll organize without breaking the bank.

  • Gardens
You can’t go wrong with a garden as a unique space for your baby shower, except, of course, if it rains. But when the weather is pleasant, it’s one of the easiest venues to put together. Botanical gardens already have gorgeous views and beautiful flowers, so you don’t have to spend much on décor. Set up a few chairs and tables, decorate with a few balloons, prepare some homemade snacks and refreshments, and get ready to party.

  • Lofts
Are you looking to spice up your special event? Converted lofts are expansive and versatile baby shower spaces you can design and turn into whatever you have in mind. They typically feature high ceilings with exposed beams and brick walls, giving off a cool, industrial vibe. So, if you know of a trendy spacious loft in your area, don’t hesitate to call and organize a visit.

  • Farms
Farms offer a spectacular backdrop that any conventional space can’t match. It’s incredibly adaptable, so you can easily make it your own. It can also accommodate various activities and be transformed into a dancing space or a casual mingling area.

  • Resorts
You may be expecting a big turnout, and most of your guests will have to stay overnight. Or maybe, you want a location that offers abundant entertainment and breathtaking views. Whatever the case, a resort is an excellent choice for a baby shower venue. You can also benefit from their experienced staff to help you pull off a fantastic baby shower bash.

What to Look for in Baby Shower Spaces

Not all event spaces are created the same, so you have to get your priorities straight before making a final decision. For your guide, here are a few details to keep in mind to ensure that your chosen venue is the best one for your big day.

  • Size
Since it’s a personal event, you should have a general idea of how many people will attend and celebrate with you. Such knowledge is essential to decide on the overall size of the space you’ll need, whether it’s an outdoor or indoor site. Suppose you’re uncertain about the number of guests that will show up. In that case, it’s a good idea to pick a flexible venue, like a local park, garden, or community space.

  • Services
The place to hold your baby shower should have plenty of parking and can accommodate guests with mobility issues. Check if they provide catering services or allow outside food to bring to the location. Some may offer kitchen facilities, so you can cook and prepare refreshments. You’ll also need to know if they have a cleanup crew or rules for decorations.

  • Features
Baby shower venues are more than just empty rooms to bring people together. You’ll also want a space with additional features like a built-in audio-visual system, good lighting, a stable WiFi connection, and free arcade games. These provide a consumer-centered experience that will simplify your tasks and impress your guests.

  • Atmosphere
One crucial element that can set your baby shower apart is the ambiance. Your party setting should have a perfect atmosphere that allows your guests to relax and enjoy the occasion. While the décor plays a significant role in creating the right ambiance in your venue, it isn’t the only thing that matters. Creating a dramatic flair is also about proper lighting, temperature, and even music.

Baby Shower Inspirations

There may be a lot of extraordinary venues near you, but not all of them will match your needs and budget. Still, it’s best to know what options are available so you can pick the best one that will lead you to event success.

  • Inspiring Church Adoption Baby Showers
When you or a loved one welcomes a new family member through adoption, there’s probably no better place to celebrate than in a local church hall. Worship sites often have additional rooms or a big hall for social events, like weddings and receptions. Even non-believers will appreciate the relaxing ambiance in a church hall, and it often has furniture and AV equipment for gatherings.

  • Baby Sprinkle Showers at Vineyards
Although you’d want to stay away from wines while pregnant, there’s no reason not to host a sprinkle shower at a local vineyard or winery. Your event will undoubtedly stand out with the venue’s elegance, uniqueness, and versatility. Plus, there’s no need to overdo the décor because the place is enough to create the ideal setting you want for a celebration that everyone will talk about for months and years.

  • Surprise Baby Shower at a Tea House
Tea houses offer cozy baby shower rooms where everyone can chill and relax while having delicious tea and refreshments. The structure of traditional tea houses reflects the authentic Japanese architectural design and style, offering a chich and elegant look that will undoubtedly appeal to the guests. So, invite the parents-to-be to a tea house and make them believe they are just having a relaxing tea afternoon.

  • Beach Gender Reveal
Gender reveals are a new party idea where parents and guests finally discover the baby’s gender. If you have easy access to the beach, why not host this exciting event at the beach? The cool breeze, the smell of ocean air, the sound of waves, the feel of the sand on your feet – everything about the beach is rejuvenating. And hosting a gender reveal simply doubles the fun.
