About the Space
NO minimum number of hours! LALITA meaning “she who plays” says it all. The Lalita loft is designed as a place for play. Every corner is photographable, filled with unique antiques, art and custom furniture. Giving any production endless options for building their own sets or using what is already in place. Each room has option for black out studio lighting and is lit up perfectly with pendant dimmable lighting. 3,000 sq ft and 20 ft tall ceilings make it perfect for shooting. Ground floor street entry makes loading and unloading equipment easy. 3 bedrooms; all different with their own unique and eclectic style. 1 movie room/den , 2 full bathrooms, 1 full kitchen with dinning area with living room. Lalita loft features iconic pieces like the the Ettore Scottsass “ultrafragola mirror”, Jack Lenor Larsen furniture pieces, Vladimir Kagan seat, and 1 of a kind upholstered vintage pieces with textiles made exclusively for Lalita Loft. Not only for productions but Lalita Loft can used for small dinner parties, intimate events, or art exhibitions. A truly unique spot that is like no other.

What an insanely beautiful space! We were so lucky to get this location, and Brandi and the team were amazing to work with! They were so accommodating, responsive, and understanding of our needs. Most of the apartment is ornate and fragile, so I would definitely recommend bringing floor and furniture protection and being super careful with loading in and out. Very grateful that our shoot went super smoothly, and it wouldn't have been possible without Brandi and the team!
