Tacoma is a city in Washington state that is just south of Seattle located on the water inlet known as the Puget Sound. Beyond being a spectacular place, this small city has created an identity all its own thanks to its thriving arts scene.
The city center is known for mixing the urban and the artistic with buildings that are both modern and historic. You can even stroll downtown noting the contrast between the buildings while you sample delicious local cuisine, shop in many of the high end boutique shops and take in the local art scene. The climate in Tacoma is pretty standard for the Washington area. It’s fairly mild most of the year, but its location makes it prone to rain and during the winter months things can get a bit harsh.
