25 acres in the colorado foothills west of boulder. Horse property with horse barn (featured top fold front page of Denver Post lifestyle section) hay barn, tiny home (featured on tiny home hunters), full Olympic size horse arena, horse runs and stalls, and fully enclosed horse pasture area. The only flat property with both 360 views from a rooftop deck. You see boulder valley, Indian peaks high country, sugarloaf mountain and mt. Pisca which you can walk up (10 min) for a spectacular view that makes you feel you are much futher than 15 minutes from boulder. House surrounded by natural vegetation and a large aspen grove to the south. There is a fire pit and a special thinking rock to sit on in the aspen grove. No one has walked into the house and not been amazed. The concept is a New York loft in the middle of the foothills with indoor outdoor living and be as energy efficient as possible. The east and west windows on the 2nd floor accordion open so you can have an extended living space for most of the year, and bring the outdoors in. The kitchen in modular in concept. There is the main cooking kitchen with a unique vertical two story wood wall which mimics the southern aspen grove, part two of the kitchen is the island with a built in oval table and seating area with a movable seat for the other side of the oval. There are two refrigerators, two dishwashers and a special hidden pull out table to extend the prep space, there is a special pantry with a pass through and a restaurant door. The third part of the kitchen is a counter with accordion windows that can be opened to create an large dinner table halfway in and halfway out. The upstairs bedrooms have interior garage doors to capture that open living feeling. Upstairs bathroom has a sunken tub and blue and white star tiling, the master bedroom has textured tiles instead of paint and has a private balcony. As well there is a sauna, steam bath, w/d, double sink walk in closet and an outdoor shower. The second floor has two large patios to the east and west. There is an attached garage and a carport and a dog run The upstairs has a glass staircase which meets grated flooring leading to a Romeo and Juliet balcony on the west and a rooftop deck on the east. As well there is a blue-whiteboard for arts, drawing, math, HW etc. (and actually the kitchen and bar also have yellow-whiteboard). Oh there is a bar area with cabinets over the top, wine fridge, ice maker, large counter, cabinets and sink. Downstairs lots of locker space, two reading nooks, a pac man game, purple tiled bathroom and then a multicolored tiled bathroom. Two bedrooms one with a private reading nook with a door that opens into the larger living space. Downstairs also has a covered patio with a hot tub and a garage door with windows so you don’t have to deal with the wind when in the hot tub. Upstairs has a gym with peloton weights etc. As well as my desk area which basically a created office area or can be a bar for a second level of the kitchen as you can look down on the action in the kitchen from above.
