Late 90's style loft with three levels of North facing windows, this 890 sq ft. loft has ceilings from 8-20 ft high. Multi-level open floor plan, light abounds on bright days. The ceiling has an industrial feel, and there are exposed pipes and structural beams throughout. Flooring is finished plywood (dining/living), cork (bedroom), and tile (entrance, kitchen, bathroom).
The space is filled with mid-century and antique furniture, artistic decor from all around the world (North African, South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe), and lots of greenery. The apartment is set up as a home with a fully functional kitchen, bathroom, dining room, living room, desk space, and bedroom. The space could be used for film or photography, has great acoustics for acoustic instruments and voice, and has dimmable lighting throughout the living, dining, and bedroom. There is a sizable balcony (North facing).
The space is big enough to easily fit 25-30 people but is most comfortable with fewer. There is enough seating for 20 people to sit comfortably if necessary (chairs, couches, stools, bench, etc.). With COVID protocols in place, the current occupancy maximum is 15 individuals (based on spacing requirements).
There is a projector that can be set up if needed, as well as a sound system (please advise the host). The living and dining rooms are large, however, all other rooms (kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom are small). There are stairs within the apartment.
Please note that the building is accessible only by stairs (one level from the back entrance, two from the front).
