The site rep Daniel is the person who made us feel really comfortable and welcomed. He was so professional and helpful. Thanks Daniel! And thanks to the owners for letting us film there.

Doug and Andrew were excellent hosts and were extremely quick to communicate and respond to issues. I was very happy to work with them. They were also very open to helping you with your needs for the particular situation so talk to them. The space: Beautiful space and has lots of furniture to play around with. It does have a bathroom even if that is not mentioned in the listing. The one annoying part is you can't get into the building with a code, you will be required to physically go down 3 flights to open the downstairs door for each guest. There is a service elevator but you have to walk up a flight of stairs as well walk down a passage to get to it (so keep this in mind if you have to bring a ton of equipment). Other than that, excellent space and would recommend renting again!

As I’m sure you can tell from the photos, Themis’s home is an incredibly unique space with more looks than I could shoot in a day (or maybe a week). What the photos don’t show is how kind and helpful Themis and Bruce were before, during, and after our shoot. Before we even booked, Themis gave us an in-depth tour of every corner of the property. Bruce was home during the shoot and was super-accommodating as we moved our gear from room to room. Finally, the day after the shoot I realized I had left my lens cap (an expensive replacement for a vintage lens) in the TV room and Themis found it within minutes of my call; I picked it up 15 minutes later. A huge weight off my shoulders! Themis understands the necessities of production, and Brick Manor is a true gem. If you’re considering booking, go for it - you'll be glad you did. Also shout out to Richard and Fernando for all your help!

Tips on How to Organize Affordable Wedding Events in Seattle

Anyone who has gone through the process of planning a wedding knows that it can be a daunting and expensive undertaking. However, with a little creativity and the help of some friends and family, it is possible to plan a beautiful and affordable wedding in Seattle. Here are some tips to get you started:

  • Utilize online tools: There are a number of online resources that can help you save time and money when planning your wedding.

  • Consider a less traditional venue: Are you open to getting married outside of a traditional banquet hall or church? Getting married in a park or even at City Hall can be much more affordable than renting out a venue.

  • Simplify your guest list: It can be tempting to invite everyone you know to your wedding, but doing so can quickly increase your costs. Try to limit your guest list to close friends and family members who you know will truly appreciate being there on your special day.

  • DIY whenever possible: There are a number of ways you can save money by DIYing your wedding decorations, favors, and even food. But beware — only take on as much as you can handle! The last thing you want is to be stressed out leading up to your big day.

  • Set a budget – and stick to it: This is perhaps the most important tip of all. Once you have set a budget, do your best to stick to it — no matter how tempting those overpriced champagne flutes may be!
