About the Space

This is a unique daylight photo studio operated by a working food photographer in West Seattle. This studio is the perfect set up for whatever creative endeavor your planning, especially if photographing or preparing food is involved. The studio has a full kitchen, dining/client area, 2 rooms of Props, and of course the shoot space ideal for still photography or video. (Please note it is not sound proof and is on a fairly busy road. There is also an office upstairs and 2 apartments) . The kitchen is complete with 2 refrigerators, 2 stoves-(one wolfe gas range, and one GE electric oven) a large marble kitchen counter work space, and an extra freezer in the back prop room. It's equipped with all the necessary kitchen appliances, cookware, dishware, utensils & more! The studio has natural light from 2 long east facing windows & glass door in the larger 500 sq ft shooting area with rustic hard wood floors. There are white (black out) curtains which line the main area if you choose not to use natural light. There is a smaller 80 sq ft area which can be used as a as client/dining area with table and chairs, or also can be used as a shooting space. This space is ideal for shooting with natural light with it's three 6.5' X4' windows facing east, as well as one 6.5' x 5.5' window facing North. The wood floor in this area has been refinished. The kitchen is 250 sq ft. The ceilings are 10 1/2 ft high. This space is ideal for photo and video production as well as cooking classes, craft classes, meetings, and events.
