Trenton, Lacey, Jack, and Wally thank you all for a smooth shoot. We made use of both studios located one block apart for our independent film. I found the facilities and the people to both be top notch. Communication was great as we dealt with rain changes in our shoot. Super accommodating and professional, couldn't recommend Bolt Studios more highly!

This outdoor event space and property was perfect for our outdoor video shoot for an auto manufacturer. We utilized the roads around the property, green areas, and spots near the lake for our shoot. Demetrica was wonderful to work with. She communicated well and responded in a timely manner. We appreciate her patience and help throughout the preproduction process.

Advantages

  • Business-minded town
The major businesses in Fort Worth are oil and gas, transportation, and aerospace. The city understands business and works to make each of its industries successful. It’s competitive from a cost standpoint, and it’s never seen a logistical challenge that someone in the city couldn’t handle.

  • Plenty of transportation
What were those major industries in the city again? Oh yeah, Fort Worth thrives on transportation options, and this is definitely an advantage for a video shoot location.

Disadvantages

  • Violent crime
Fort Worth still ranks high on the list of cities with the worst rate of violent crime. Maybe it’s because the population increased so quickly, or that the wild west mentality is still more prevalent than expected. Whatever the reason, the number of violent crimes in the city is higher than it should be.

  • Flooding
Fort Worth is in the Trinity River Basin and has suffered devastating floods over the years, with more expected. The 1949 flood was the worst to date, and flooding is supposed to negatively impact daily life over the next 30 years.
