We booked Salima's property for a sit down interview and Salima was very helpful and informative throughout the preproduction and production day processes. The location was beautiful and the crew stated that load in/load out was very easy. Salima answered all of our questions and made the check in/set up process easy for everyone. We would definitely book again!

If you are looking to film in Baltimore this is your location. Salima was a wonderful host. She responded right away and answered all my questions. Salima was super resourceful and made sure we had all the info we needed . This location has ample on street parking. We were able to load in the front and back of the space without any issues. The backyard is secure so we were able to leave some of our equipment out side.(leave at your own discretion) We also added to our booking and rented out the 2nd floor which is just as gorgeous. Upstairs gave us an alternate option to film in if needed. In this case we were able to have holding and our office set up separate from our set. The next time we film in Baltimore we will come back to this location if it is available.

Tips on How to Organize Video Shoots in Baltimore

Organizing a video shoot in Baltimore can be quite a daunting task. To ensure that your production goes as smoothly as possible and that you get the most out of your shoot, there are some key steps to take and tips to keep in mind.

  • Be aware of local laws: You must understand the local laws and regulations regarding filming in Baltimore before setting up with your crew. Doing an online search for “filming permits Baltimore” will give you access to current regulations and costs associated with obtaining permits for your production. You should also consider taking insurance if needed to protect yourself and your crew from eventualities.

  • Manage logistics: Once you have sorted out the legal requirements, it’s time to start planning the logistics of the shoot. Improper logistics management can lead to delays and production interruptions, so organize transportation, supplies, props, lodging, etc, before the actual video filming.

  • Look for potential sites: Research locations ahead of time to ensure they match your concept and have suitable facilities nearby, such as restrooms, refreshments, and parking areas. Scouting several days prior can provide valuable insights into any potential problems that may arise when filming on location.

  • Prepare your equipment: Check that everyone has all their equipment ready and is familiar with their roles on set. This includes having backups prepared in case something fails before or during the shoot. Accurate call times also help ensure everyone arrives on time, so these are sent out at least 24 hours beforehand.
