Our team was shooting mainly in front yard for our project, in addition to the front door (both inside and out). It was a great property, well decorated if you're looking for a pre-dressed space. It's a compact layout but has ample different rooms to use. There is also a very spacious back lawn with a great back patio space so craft services and lunch was a breeze. There are parking options nearby and neighbors were no issue even though we had a very early start. Heather was an excellent host, very responsive, helpful and accommodating. I'd film here again and recommend it readily!

Shelly was an INCREDIBLE host. She was so sweet and accommodating and everything on site just went perfect! It's a shame I'm from Michigan because I'd love to do more at this location. Thank you for having us! We cannot wait to release Peyton's video from this location!

Nashville, the state capital of Tennessee, is an economic, cultural, and recreational hub for the state. The city is located in the northern part of Tennessee, in a hilly region along the Cumberland River. It’s the state’s second-largest city with about 700,000 people who call it home.

From a frontier trading post, Nashville evolved into a thriving commercial and educational center and is now a beloved tourist destination in the south. It may not be as bustling or colorful as New York City or Los Angeles, but this Music City has a unique charm and personality that draw the attention of millions of visitors each year.

The Grand Ole Pry, Country Music Hall of Fame, and the 132-acre Centennial Park are not to be missed, but besides the scenic green spaces and live music venues, the video shoot locations in Nashville are worth exploring. Pros and Cons of Video Shoots in Nashville, TN

Like all things in life, there are pros and cons to choosing a video shoot location in Nashville. But don’t worry; wearing a cowboy hat doesn’t make it onto either list. Still, it's worth knowing why the city may or may not be a good spot for your next video shoot, depending on your needs and production projection.

Advantages

Natural Beauty
Nashville, or Tennessee in general, is a picturesque place with unmatched natural beauty that appeals to visitors and residents while also providing a creative spark that transforms many projects from good to great. Wherever part of the city you shoot, you’ll have a stunning backdrop when filming outdoors.

Budget-friendly
A lot of cities are expensive, but Nashville offers the best of both worlds: high-quality spaces and service companies at a budget-friendly price. It’s one of the reasons that the entertainment industry keeps coming back to the city. The availability of studio space and sound stages further enhances its appeal.

Entertainment
There’s plenty to do in Nashville when you are done with your video shoot each day. You can start your day in one of the unique and delicious coffee shops. Take in a museum or gallery on your lunch break, and then enjoy the nightlife when you’re done for the day.

Disadvantages

Inclement Weather
Summer and winter in Nashville are a bit extreme and may impact your production. The summers are hot and humid, and winter brings snow and colder temperatures. Pay attention and pack accordingly.

Limited Transportation
Private transportation is practically essential in Nashville. There aren’t a lot of public transportation options to get people where they need to be. This can be a challenge when trying to coordinate multiple film shoot locations across the city.

Tight Schedules
All the advantages of video shoot locations in Nashville mean that a lot of people and companies are competing for the same spaces. Popular locations in Nashville, especially those for video shoots, are often booked well in advance.

Famous Locations in Nashville, TN

Country Music Hall of Fame

Tip your hat (literally or figuratively) to those who made Nashville and the country music genre famous at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Even if you’re not a country fan, it’s hard not to be impressed here. It’s a museum and research center, covering all the eras of country music history. Plus, the architecture of the building is pretty impressive too, featuring high ceilings and natural light that add to its grandeur.

Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage
The word hermitage means a secluded or private place, and that’s a good definition for Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage. It’s about 10 miles outside of downtown Nashville, but it's worth the trip. The 1,000-acre estate was the home of our seventh president. The mansion tour and grounds are both equally impressive, no matter what your opinion of the man may be. The estate’s exposed brick and historic ambiance have made it a popular film shoot location in Nashville.

Cumberland River Bridge
This bridge is cool, and you can take a trolley sightseeing tour to get to it. The official name is John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, and it connects Cumberland Park and Riverfront Park while spanning the Cumberland River. This area is often featured on the big screen for its scenic backdrop, making it a memorable spot for visitors. The bridge is lit up at night and offers awesome views of the Nashville skyline and, of course, the river.
