About the Space

Welcome to the OPKS Dome House. This one-of-a-kind, mid-century dome masterpiece is located in old, downtown Overland Park. It looks like a spaceship landed on the block and features a large, southern facing courtyard with indoor pool, tropical plants, and sunshine all year long. The interior is styled in a mid-century, minimal aesthetic and features exposed wood beams, a brick fireplace, galley kitchen, a cozy dining room, a light-filled sitting room, and a mechanical wall that opens the house to the courtyard. The courtyard is the centerpiece of the house. Bright, beautiful, and filled with tropical plants and sunshine. We can't wait to see what you do with the space!

    Wow - this space is beautiful and unique! I primarily worked with Jeff; he was very accommodating and shared the cool history behind the house. We used the space for an off-site retreat for our team of 12. We had several guest speakers come for workshops and also had a yoga session in the dome (my favorite part). I highly recommend using this space for your next event!
