About the Space

We are delighted to share our beautiful, historic sanctuary for your special event. Built in 1950 by local millworkers our building captures the essence of post-war charm and craftsmanship. The Wedding Chapel is open to couples of all races, genders, sexual identities, and faith/non faith backgrounds. As in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina and the Inclusion and Affirmation policies of the Chapels owners Missiongathering Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). No couple with a legal wedding license will be turned away for being a part of the LGBTQAI+ Community. Our Chapel has 90 matching chairs free of charge. It can accommodate 150 people comfortably but extra seat must be secured from an outside rental company. We have a parking lot and street parking is permitted on adjacent streets around the facility.
