About the Space

Gritty Warehouse 3,750 sq/ft original storefront building divided into 3 rooms. This is a shell of a building with electricity for productions only. There is no heat, air-conditioning or plumbing. 900 sq/ft indoor lounge/green room/bathroom with a/c and heat included with warehouse booking. NO VEHICLES INSIDE BUILDING ELECTRIC: There are 5 outlets. One 30 Amp breaker by itself. The other 4: Each share a 30 Amp breaker LARGE ROOM: 50ft x 50ft, 13ft ceilings, skylights & steel trusses. 4 skylights that can be blacked out with built-in sliding covers (see photos). Light enters skylights 9a-3p (varies w/season). Flood lights on one half of room for night shoots. MIDDLE ROOM: 25ft x 30ft original brick walls painted & unpainted, one 5 ft. square window opening with steel bars and one floodlight that shines on the ceiling. BACK ROOM: 25ft x 25ft, cinderblock and original bricked-in doorway, vintage wooden rolling door with steel bars. There is fluorescent tube lighting. Front load in for large equipment via two 6ft double doors. Use of next door building roof deck with Dallas skyline view included in Warehouse rental (see photos). Operating hours 7a-11p. No check-in/set up after sundown. Productions after 11pm possible. Rates are time and a half. Please inquire. Pricing based upon number of cast, crew and gated parking spaces. 1-5 guests get 4 gated parking spaces only. 6+ guests have entire parking lot for 10 cars and exclusive use of the roofdeck at Blackbird Lofts.
