The 1906 earthquake caused a fire to break out at the San Francisco Mint. Though there was significant cosmetic damage to the exterior of The Mint, the building remained intact, being saved primarily by the buildings shape and courtyard well. At the time of the quake and fire, The San Francisco Mint held $300 Million, which was one-third of the country’s gold reserves. It was the only building left standing in miles.
The expansive Courtyard, enclosed by the building, is a favorite spot for an al fresco ceremony with sky views and total privacy. Try adding market lights, colorful LED projections, or a profusion of greenery to make the space your own. Anything is possible!

Flexible Art Space in Historic Building
Built as a union meeting hall in 1914, The Lab's 3,000 square foot space was recently restored to reveal its original hardwood floors, a wall of windows, and industrial steel beams. 125 feet of static wall space, four moveable walls, an acoustic ceiling, flexible track and theater lighting, blackout blinds, and a state of the art Meyer Sound system give the historic space its modern edge. Located 1/2 block from the 16th and Mission BART station, The Lab's wheelchair accessible space is perfect for your next project.
Rental fees directly support the programmatic mission and operational maintenance of The Lab, and most importantly, the artists we work with.
Vintage storefront w/ speakeasy bar in the Mission
Our space is a curated vintage furniture store with multiple living-space vignettes brimming w/ vintage props and decor. Reclaimed wood and victorian tin paneling line the walls w/ dramatic tin-lined high ceilings overhead. We have a back room designed as a "speak easy" bar w/ a rustic wood bar, shelving, wood-lined walls, a loft accessible by rustic wooden ladder, and weathered wood floors. Store has two large front window displays for natural light, back space has two large skylights and dozens of lamps around the space for as much or as little light as needed.
The space is located in the Potrero Hill/Design District neighborhood of San Francisco and is a converted machine shop originally built in the late 1800's. Many original features are still intact. It was home to and antique and art gallery for the past 30 years prior to becoming the offices of an international event designer and producer. If you're looking for that at home experience look no further.
The space is perfect for team meetings, off-sites, conferences, presentations, product launches, dinners, pop up shops and galleries, cocktail receptions, intimate weddings and holiday parties or anything else you comes up with!
The exterior of the brick masonry building is covered in old growth vines and surrounded on two sides by 10 foot tall clipped topiaries. You enter the building through the original sliding door and arrive in the drive through porte-cochère. Within this space there are exposed brick walls, estate planters overflowing with ivy and ferns.
Access to the building is through the double french doors. As you enter the building you find you’re in the grand foyer with oversized crystal chandelier, Italian statuary and contemporary art. A large bathroom is accessed from this space.
Two large rooms open off the foyer. One functions as a reception/gathering space and the other as conference/dining space.
The reception room is eclectically furnished with multiple seating areas. Through another set of french doors is an intimate cobblestoned courtyard filled with green and blooming seasonal plants.
The dining room can accommodate up to 24 at one long table.
Located just behind the dining room is the fully equipped kitchen. An additional half bath is adjacent to this space . There is also a door with access to the street for catering load in.
On the Second floor are three additional spaces. The Chandelier Ballroom Room, Library and Conference Room.
The 1000 sq ft Ballroom is surrounded on 3 side by large warehouse windows with views of the downtown skyline and rear garden. It’s large enough to accommodate a sit down dinner for up to 100 guests. 2 65” flat screen monitors are available along with a Bose Tower sound system with wireless microphone.
The Library is furnished with modern furniture, designer chandeliers and custom wallpaper. This room has a flat screen monitor available for your use. Adjacent to the Library is a second restroom.
The second floor conference room can accommodate up to 12 at one table. There is a 65" flat screen for presentations.
We are two blocks from the San Francisco Design Center, Zynga, Uber, Adobe and many more tech companies and only one block from Starbucks, Whole-foods and many restaurants.

THE MEETING LOFT SF: Full-service & versatile
The Producer's Loft Studio is located in the heart of San Francisco's culture-rich Mission District. A short 4-min. walk from the 24th Street / Mission BART Station and steps from numerous restaurants and eateries. This TURN-KEY studio comes with a full grip equipment and studio support package, camera-ready chef's kitchen w/pantry, white cyclorama, black limbo, green screen and location style shooting options. A beautiful garden patio and art gallery entrance greet visitors. We regularly host the top technology and medical companies along with national and international production companies for meetings, video and television productions and photography. The studio is a fast, organized and clean facility with many options and turn-key solutions.
Creative Photography Studio, Historic Artist Space
Please note that our hourly rate only include the rental of the physical space. Production equipment inside of our space is extra. Please ask for those rates if you intend to rent any gear. You are more than welcome to bring your own production equipment, in fact, we prefer you bring all your own gear for your production.
- ABOUT THE BUILDING -
Studio 63 is inside one of the last remaining live/work artist spaces in Downtown San Francisco's SOMA district. Over 100 years old, car parts were assembled in our studio. The building's owner was a well known SF photographer and philanthropist who knew the value of providing an affordable, creative space for artists to work and thrive. His passion to protect this building and each space inside has always been an inspiration to us to do the same within the artist community in San Francisco.
- ABOUT THE SPACE -
Hundreds of well known artists have used our space to bring their creative visions to life. We have a beautiful, 17 foot white brick wall that even has a small crack from the 1989 earthquake. We resurfaced the original floors when we acquired this space and added the artist loft and gear storage area. Approx. 500sq. ft. of private shooting space fit for any type of production. Please feel free to ask us any questions about the space.
- ABOUT THE ARTISTS -
We are three professional photographers, creative directors and producers who have been using this incredible space to shoot commercial and personal photographic work going into our 3rd year. We have hosted local bands, poets, artists, corporate team off-sites, networking events, movie nights, photography critiques and even individual birthday parties. We have produced photography out of this space for hundreds of brands and clients including some of the most well known editorial magazines in The Bay Area. We are open to your ideas and hope our space can provide you with budgetary flexibility and creative freedom to do your best work!
