5 Acres of Possibilities
My property offers many different styles for endless possibilities, with empty desert to industrial buildings. I am on 2.5 acres with an automatic solid steel gate for security. In the gated 2.5 acres sits 2 houses, 1 single level home and the other 2 stories. There is also a vacant single wide mobile home, and 2 single wide occupied mobile homes. There also sits a small auto tech location on a small portion of the property. There are 2 warehouse style buildings and 1 warehouse frame only. There are many vehicles with a wide verity of styles and purposes on the property. The property is provided water by our underground well there is also electricity up to 220V that is available all over the 2.5 gated acres. Adjacent to the gated 2.5 acres is another 2.5 vacant desert land not gated.
25-Acre Desert Land with Cabin & Rock Formations
Film location located 75 minutes from Los Angeles, in Lancaster, CA.
Our 25-acre property is a desertscape that abounds with Joshua trees and features amazing rock formations. There are three areas to shoot in:
> An Americana-style Mojave desert road
> A hunting cabin from the 1940's surrounded by Joshua trees
> A rocky butte/rock formation area
**If you're interested in renting the cabin area ONLY rates are half.
We are next to a main road, 150th St E, which makes for easy access to the property.
The property has 20,000 sq ft. of parking space.
Depending on your inquiry you might be charged one of the rates below,
> Small production (up to 25 people): $3529.20 for a 12-hour day
> Large production (25+ people): $5882+ for a 12-hour day (depends on the impact the production will have on the landscape).
*If the allowed crew size is exceeded there will be a $150 per person charge for every extra person.
*A site representative is required in every shoot, this needs to be paid separately by the client.

Maintain general liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00 per occurrence and in the aggregate for property damage and bodily injury, naming Rocky Buttes Movie Ranch, LLC. as Additional Insured. All Certificates must also include Third Party Property Damage and/or Loss Payee. A Certificate of Insurance showing all coverage and the Named and Additional Insureds must be provided to Rocky Buttes Movie Ranch, LLC. prior to entry onto the Location. Any deductible and all premiums must be paid by the Producer.
Port a potties can be rented from Andy Gump - Santa Clarita.
We’re under Film LA jurisdiction and all proper permitting should be taken care of by the production.
Security deposit is required and we must receive it before that start date. It must be a bank certified check. Fee is 70% of daily fee ($1,500 minimum). This will be returned at the end of the shoot date if no issues are reported by the site rep.
