About Berkeley

Berkeley is located in Northern California neighboring the cities of Albany, Kensington, Emeryville, and Oakland. The city is home to well-known learning institutions like the University of Berkeley and the Space Sciences Laboratory.

Considered as one of the nation's most socially liberal cities, one study ranked Berkely as the third in the U.S. Several parts promote green spaces around the city, and Berkley is recognized as a nationwide leader in the efforts to re-grow trees in urban areas.

The area is defined by a warm-summer Mediterranean climate with the driest and warmest months typically fall between June to September. Tranquility is the best way to describe what the city is all about, and you should consider booking your next meeting space in Berkley.

Meeting Options in Berkeley

Meetings are all about people. Whether it's a corporate or laidback gathering, everyone attending is looking forward to an inclusive experience. With a meeting space in Berkeley secured, the next step is working with various service providers to make it a successful offsite function.

  • Equipment Rentals

Board rooms make the best setting for meetings that involve a speech or presentation. In the case of offsite meetings, not all venues have boardrooms or provide conferencing facilities. For a business-centric meeting that heavily relies on teleconferencing and audio/visual projections, it's best to secure a venue that provides these services. Otherwise, Berkeley equipment rental stores can easily solve the problem.

  • Transportation

The office is usually a tense environment that doesn't encourage creative thinking. Offsites give everyone a fresh perspective and they also bring staff members together periodically, in the case of businesses with locations in different cities. It's necessary to handle staff members’ transport arrangements for out-of-town meetings.

  • Catering

Meetings are convened for diverse reasons but regardless of the specific reason, participants should have something to eat in between the scheduled activities. Whether it's a multi-day event, full-day meeting, or just a gathering held for a couple of hours; it helps to provide some appropriate beverages and snacks for the attendees. It can be as simple as a tea and sandwich spread, but working with a Berkeley caterer should get the food situation for your function sorted.

  • Accommodation

Out-of-town meetings that run for several days also mean that the attendees need somewhere to put up for the duration of the function. It helps to have everyone stay in a central location and if possible, in close proximity to the chosen Berkeley meeting venue. There are selections of hotels in Berkeley as well as other accommodation options suitable for business travels.

  • Activities

Perhaps the meeting ends early or attendees get to the location ahead of time, it doesn't hurt to seize the opportunity to explore the city. Berkeley has several points of interest including the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, Marina, Public Library, and Repertory Theatre that are worth a visit.
