About the Space

The delightful theater venue we offer is an ideal choice for your upcoming gathering, whether it's a party, meeting, fundraiser, or performance. Moreover, our location is incredibly convenient, situated just three blocks away from BART station, and street parking is usually easy. Parking meters stop at 6PM and are free on Sundays. Our venue is fully equipped to ensure your event is a tremendous success. We are ordinarily set up in a performance setting with 55 well-padded seats facing the stage. However, this can change depending on your needs. We have ceiling fans and air conditioning to maintain a comfortable atmosphere, and a comprehensive sound system complete with wireless handheld microphones, stage monitors, reverb, compression, and various effects. While our ceiling has been expertly soundproofed, this is still not a place for very loud events and in all situations our PA system must be off by 10PM. We have an ADA-compliant bathroom to ensure that everyone can partake in the enjoyment. As a venue, we book music, comedy, storytelling, improv, magic, theater, and other forms of intimate human entertainment. For rentals we are also open to parties, meetings, readings, anything the space is a good match for. We were built by artists for artists and we hope to give you and your fans or friends a fantastic experience. We're famous for the charming intimacy of our space and for its excellent acoustics. We normally rent by the night in a 5-hour block but we have hosted an hourly rate as this is how this site is set up. Audio and lighting tech available for additional charge.
