Great place for filming. Super clean and looks exactly like the pictures. Plenty of parking. Our cast & crew was 7 people so there was a lot of space to get what we needed. We weren't able to get in until 30 minutes after our booking started. However, the host was gracious enough to extend our time to make up for it. We would definitely book this place again.

Ivory was very responsive and gave detailed information about the lighting, access, and the space itself. She was also super accommodating when we needed to extend the time. When one of the wheels on the set wall was stuck in brake position and we tried to move it, Ivory quickly sent a studio manager to the unit to help with the wheel hinges and to move the wall. There's one elevator, which gets busier as the day goes on, so I'd take Ivory's recommendation to arrive early. She cares a lot about the space and the experience, and instantly replied to our needs and questions.

About Auditorium Spaces

Auditoriums provide a grand stage for diverse events, each awaiting unique gatherings. These event spaces, whether lecture halls or performing arts center sites, are versatile and can be transformed to host a variety of events, from serious corporate seminars to lively musical showcases, with ease and flexibility. The advanced acoustics produce clear words, complemented by innovative technology that enhances the sensory experience for all participants.

Event planners and hosts are skilled at creating the perfect ambiance for every occasion, paying close attention to even the smallest details. Guests enjoy the versatility of the auditoriums, which can hold large crowds akin to a basketball arena while still providing an intimate setting. Plush seating ensures comfort, while unobstructed sightlines ensure no moment goes unseen or unheard.

In the world of auditoriums, event hosts and audience members find a partner in a space that seamlessly combines elegance and functionality. Every detail, from the precision of lighting to seamless ingress and egress, is carefully crafted to create lasting memories.

The Best Auditorium Spaces

When it comes to hosting significant events, the choice of venue is paramount. The stage, the ambiance, and the overall layout play pivotal roles in crafting an unforgettable experience. One such versatile venue that caters to many events is the auditorium — a space that can be transformed and adapted to suit any occasion.

The Traditional Auditorium
The traditional auditorium, with its vast seating arrangement and grand stage, is a classic choice for occasions like concerts, lectures, or theatrical performances. Its structured layout, whether featuring a proscenium stage or a thrust stage, provides a clear line of sight for all attendees, ensuring an immersive experience. However, the rigidity of the seating plan can limit interaction among guests and restrict more dynamic activities like dancing or mingling.

The Banquet-Style Auditorium
A banquet-style auditorium offers a blend of formality and festivity. This type of space is often used for gala dinners, award ceremonies, and weddings. It allows for eating, dancing, and a variety of other activities. The downside is that it may not be ideal for presentations or performances requiring a centralized focus.

The Black Box Auditorium
The black box auditorium is the epitome of flexibility. With movable seating and a customizable stage, it's perfect for experimental theater, intimate concerts, or unique corporate events. However, the lack of a fixed structure might not suit more traditional or formal events.

The Outdoor Amphitheater
The outdoor arena provides a refreshing alternative for those seeking an unconventional yet captivating venue. Ideal for open-air concerts, festivals, or community gatherings, auditorium spaces with an orchestra pit, arena stage, and designated areas for musical performances harness the charm of nature as part of their appeal. The potential drawbacks could be weather unpredictability and the need for additional lighting and sound provisions.

What to Look for in Auditorium Spaces

In the quest for the perfect auditorium space, one ought to tread with a discerning eye and a comprehensive checklist. The following are critical pointers to assist you in your selection, ensuring that whatever event you host within these halls – be it a conference, a theatrical performance, or an academic lecture – resonates with success.

Size and Capacity
Ensure that the auditorium can comfortably accommodate your anticipated number of guests without sacrificing the ease of movement or visibility. Consider flexible seating arrangements for events with varying attendance sizes, especially when designing an end stage setup.

Layout and Accessibility
Attentively assess the flow of aisles, the adequacy of exits, and the provision of accessibility features for individuals with disabilities. An inclusive space is a pinnacle of exceptional auditorium design.

Acoustic and Lighting Savvy
Examine the quality of acoustics — a crucial element that can make or break the audibility and ambiance of the event. Appropriate lighting systems, both natural and artificial, should provide adequate illumination while complementing the purpose of performance venues, with designated light control areas to enhance the overall space.

Amenities and Services
Seek out spaces with a central stage surrounded by seating, ample backstage areas, reliable technical equipment, a robust Wi-Fi connection, and a dressing room or green room. Additional perks might include on-site parking, coat check facilities, and catering options, which add layers of comfort to the guest experience.

Auditorium Inspiration

Auditoriums can host many events in addition to stage performances and lectures. These spaces have customizable aisles, exits, and accessibility features. Any event can be disguised by an auditorium's atmosphere. Imagine guests entering a domain where every detail enhances the experience you want to create. Here are some ideas for your next auditorium event.

Gala Film Premieres
Picture this: the auditorium adorned with red carpets and gleaming lights and overwhelmed with the bustle of photographers and film enthusiasts. Utilize the concert hall or typical stage area for a post-screening Q&A, transforming each attendee’s experience into an interactive engagement surpassing the conventional movie-viewing phenomenon.

Academic Symposiums and Ted-Talk Style Conferences
Turn the auditorium into a nexus of thoughts and ideas. The seating can facilitate an intimate connection with speakers while the aisles become networking hubs. Use the venue's technical systems to engage the audience further with live polling or Q&A sessions.

Corporate Product Launches
Use the grandeur of the auditorium to make an impressive debut. Use state-of-the-art sound and lighting to showcase the product, and have booths on the sides for attendees to interact with it after the reveal.

Live Podcast Recordings or Radio Shows
Give a live audience the chance to participate in a recording session. Set up the stage as a lounge where conversations unfold, and use the overhead audio systems to perfect the acoustic delivery.

Interactive Art Installations
Transform the auditorium into an immersive artistic event space. Allow attendees to walk through and experience art in a novel setup where sound quality, light, and art converge in a symphony of sensory stimulation.
