About the Space
Centrally located heritage building in Mount Pleasant. Built 1889 and repurposed 2016 as a gallery, artist studios, and community event space. Ideal for art shows, filming, meetings, screenings, pop up shops, photoshoots, & small social gatherings. Located steps away from the core of Mount Pleasant we host bookings in our main gallery with adjacent kitchen access available. Our studio tenants have 24 hour access to their work spaces but keep to themselves . A full lockout of the main floor is available for an additional fee. If serving alcohol & refreshments at your event a bar and staff can be provided upon request. Parking in back of building. The gallery has photography lighting, a projection screen, & projectors available (A fee may apply) Folding chairs and tables are available for all guests to use. Please note, we offer a 20 minute walkthrough free of charge, however if you request more than one visit or the walkthrough is beyond a half hour we may ask for a small fee for our time. A liaison fee may apply if required staff presence and continual support. 700/day for small to medium film crews. 1000-2000 for large. If filming or photography occurs in the cave room credit is to be made to Zandi Dandizette for the artwork in all documentation.

Perfect venue for my small photo workshop. Loved the age you can see on the walls in this home - it's got a lot of character! Really enjoyed shooting in this space!

This venue is an incredible experience for anyone who wants to host an event. The art instillations (the cave) is so unique and such a crown piece to the location. The Victorian arcitecture has been modernly updated inside with ample room to host any event. Zandi was incredibly accommodating and very easy to work with. I cannot recommend this space enough!

The classically styled Victorian Room was just as pictured, and worked well for our elopement ceremony that we zoomed to our guests. Zandi was super easy to communicate with and was very responsive. She also managed her hard work crew while our ceremony was underway so no one was in photos and there was no noise while we live-streamed.

The Quirky Victorian Art Gallery is definitely a hidden gem with some fantastic spaces to work with! The decor and home itself is a funky cool spot that worked perfectly well with our shooting needs. Definitely a one of a kind unique place. Zandi was helpful and communicative on our day of shooting and was accommodating to let us do a couple scouts which was wonderful!

- Please Note: If you wish to have your event supported or directly affiliated with the assistance of the gallery, details must be discussed and worked out upfront before finalizing an agreement. A cleaning fee may be applicable depending on the extent of the event and mess leftover. We have a "Leave No Traces" policy in place, which means pack out what you pack in. Crew and any other members must be informed to not touch any studio spaces, and to not place their belongings in them. (We have had artwork broken by this, and will take that out of the deposit if it occurs). This works to also decrease potential contact in response to COVID-19. COVID-19 policy: Must use the sign-in sheet for tracking all folks who have been in the space. Please sanitize and pre-check for symptoms of all participants in the rental. Please wear masks if more than 4 people are present. Everyone but the model or actor must be wearing masks throughout the space and in the bathrooms. If you wish to extend your reservation past the booked time-slot, please be aware that there may be an extra charge via the security deposit.
