Marty's location is even more impressive than in the photos. Lots of great options for video production setups, lots of natural light, and plenty of space to work with. Marty is an excellent host who helped make our production really smooth and everyone feel welcome. Our production was some interviews and b-roll for a documentary series. I highly recommend.

Wonderful venue for our event. We booked Martin's home for my father's memorial having never been there to check it out. It was gorgeous. Beautiful property, absolutely perfect. We used the bottom floor and were able to open up both sides of the living room, one that led to an outside porch and the other was a bank of floor to ceiling glass doors. There was a great cross breeze that all of the guests enjoyed. The kitchen was perfect for our caterer as well. He was able to stage all of the food in the kitchen and use the big square table as the place to put all of the food. The upstairs deck was super nice but we didn't need it. Martin was so easy to communicate with. He went above and beyond for us and made a special event even more special with his attentiveness and kindness. Parking was super easy for all 45 of our guests. Great location, easy to find. Five stars, awesome.

Tips on How to Organize Rooftop Bar Events in San Diego

Planning an unforgettable gathering with your friends, family, or colleagues at a rooftop bar in San Diego is sure to be a fantastic experience. To ensure that your function goes as smoothly as possible, here are some helpful tips for organizing it:

  • Find a Venue with Stellar Views - Look for the best rooftop bar that offers sweeping views of San Diego's famous landmarks like the Coronado Bridge and Petco Park. Consider the size of your group and if you need any additional features such as outdoor seating, and audio/visual equipment.

  • Choose an Appropriate Date and Time - Consider what time of day or night will work best for the event, taking into account everyone’s schedules and sunset times when planning your event date.

  • Pick Your Food & Drink Menu Carefully - Select menu items that complement the atmosphere of a rooftop bar, such as finger food or light fare items. Also, provide enough alcoholic beverage options for guests who may be interested in drinking alcohol at the event.

  • Set Up Adequate Security Measures - To ensure the safety of all guests during the course of the event hire additional security guards or have one or more people designated to monitor the area throughout the night.

  • Have a Contingency Plan - Even though it's rare, weather can be unpredictable so have a plan B in place just in case it rains or becomes too windy on the day of your event.

  • Establish Rules & Regulations - Set rules such as no smoking, no pets, and no glass containers so that all guests are aware of what’s permissible at the venue before they arrive. This will help ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience during your rooftop bar event.
