For more than a century, the Bohemian National Hall has been a cultural, educational, athletic and social center for Czech and Slovak immigrants. This grand building was commissioned by the Bohemian Benevolent and Literary Association (BBLA), designed in the Renaissance revival style by architect William C. Frohne and constructed between 1895 and 1897. In 1994, the building was designated a New York City landmark by the Landmarks Preservation Commission. In 2001, the BBLA transferred ownership of the Bohemian National Hall to the Czech Government for a symbolic one dollar. The Czech Government agreed to completely renovate and restore the interior of the building. The building was re-opened in October 2008 and functions as a lively multi-purpose center. Furnished full-floor loft event space managed by my hospitality company with everything you need for an amazing private party, corporate event, off-site meeting, or photo/film shoot for up to 65 guests. Mix of modern and vintage decor, and original art work makes it feel like a home. We can provide bar and/or catering, or you may provide. Read entire listing for requirements, rental pricing, my services and to schedule a visit before you book. ***READ ENTIRE LISTING PRIOR TO BOOKING*** Full kitchen with glassware, elevator and stairs access, one half bathroom, one full bathroom, built in music (noise never an issue, we have no neighbors), marble kitchen counter tops, private outdoor balcony, two SMART TVs, poker table, conference table with 11 office chairs, seating for 40 people, all lighting on dimmers, and shared rooftop access. If staying over, there are no regular beds, however, I do have a fold out bed, two large couches and bed sheets, blankets, pillows and bathroom supplies. Evening rentals are $1,400$ for less then 30 guests, $1,600$ for 30 to 50 guests and $1,800$ for 50 to 65 guests. One hostess is included in rental price for every 20 to 30 guests (my insurance requires it). My amazing hostesses help set up event, manages door/elevator, checks jackets, fixes and serves drinks, cleans during and after event. All you need to do is enjoy your event. Rental rates are for a four hour event plus one hour set up time and one hour load out/clean up by my staff. Additional event hours are $180/hr. Overnight stays are an additional $100/person. Limited to five guests staying overnight. Check out time is 11am. Daytime rentals (ending prior to 6pm) are $800$ for up to 30 guests, $1100$ for 30-40 guests and $1,500$ for 40-65 guests. I'm happy to assist with catering and open bar packages. Just give me your budget and theme for food and/or bar and I will provide you with some options. If your event requires catering/bar packages please message me the below details of your event for a full quote. Set-Up Time Start Time End Time Number of People Bar/Catering/Entertainment needs if any. ** We do not hold any dates without a deposit - to reserve your date you must book via Giggster I do NOT provide guests keys to the space (unless they are staying for multiple days/nights). Myself or someone from my team will be present during your entire event (my insurance requires it, see below) to buzz guests into building and up our elevator which opens directly onto my floor (it's a full-floor loft). If sleeping over, you will simply leave and everything will lock behind you. You will have access to outdoor balcony on my floor and a shared rooftop two flights up. My dedicated team of hospitality professionals aim to make guests feel appreciated and at home from the moment they arrive. My insurance requires that events of five or more guests have one of my staff present during entire event. Staff are included in rental price. I have a small team of female hostesses and supervisors that I have worked with for years that know my space and will make each of your guests feel at home. They will help you set up for event, answer all of your questions during set up of event (music, WiFi, lighting, TVs, supplies, AC/heat, parking, rooftop access, etc), buzz guests into building and up elevator, check jackets, fix and serve drinks, manage food stations, clean during and after your party. Ensure you and your guests remove everything before leaving the building, we have cleaners who will remove unidentified items from the building without consultation.
