Hosted an event here on the rooftop. Absolutely gorgeous gym internally so it leaves a very good impression on people as they enter. Rooftop was in excellent shape and there was no camera trickery to make it look bigger. They placed out the furniture in stock and were very easy to work with, despite a barrage of questions. Highly recommended.

The owner of this beautiful space was so amazing to work with! We had a small prom due to our school not allowing one with Covid. The space is so gorgeous, pictures do not show all of its beauty! The location was also very ideal with several train stations nearby. The staff was very helpful in setting up and making sure everything ran smoothly. Everyone truly had a terrific time and will definitely remember this place forever!

About New York

New York City – the Big Apple – the City that Never Sleeps – no matter how you refer to New York City, people across the world understand this is a vibrant city that is always full of entertainment, shopping opportunities and restaurants galore. New York is known for Broadway plays, historic sites, financial opportunities, and exclusive retail shops. People from all over the world visit New York City for each of these reasons and more.

NYC is the home of the Statue of Liberty, and, as such, New York symbolizes American freedom for many. New York is made up of five boroughs that are as varied as they can be. Because so many came into Ellis Island as immigrants, New York is home to restaurants of almost any taste you can imagine.

However, food and shopping aren’t the only reasons people love to visit New York, nor is Lady Liberty. New York simply has an attitude that no other American city can capture.

Pros and Cons of Banquet Hall Venues in New York

New York City is one of the most famous cities in the world, but it is not without its flaws. Let’s take a look at the pros and cons of hosting a banquet hall event in the Big Apple.

Advantages

  • So much to do
You will never, ever be bored while in New York City. There are numerous entertainment opportunities, plus Broadway, Times Square, and multiple museums to visit. The city is never quiet; no matter where you go, any time of day or night, you’ll find the city is “jumping.”

  • Many professionals to assist you
With a city of millions of folks, you can rest assured there are a plethora of professionals in the service industry. That means planning your event will be much easier. These pros aim to take the stress away from you, the host. The professionals also have connections and relationships with multiple vendors.

  • An abundance of public transportation options
New York is home to multiple public transportation options, including subways, a public bus system, taxi cabs, Uber and Lyft.

Disadvantages

  • Traffic
When visiting New York, it is important to plan your transportation ahead of time. Traffic is constantly congested at all hours of the day (and night). Certain areas have more traffic than others, too. The public transportation system can’t guarantee timely arrival at events, either.

  • Weather
The spring and fall of New York are lovely. However, summer offers sweltering, oppressive heat that is made worse by the tall buildings of the city. In the winter, snow is the norm, and it lasts from November until April.

  • Crime
Crime went down drastically in the city between 1990 and the mid-2000s. However, perhaps due to the pandemic, there has been a recent uptick in crime in the city. Even so, you’re likely to be safe on your visit to New York. Always travel in groups, and be careful of your surroundings.

Famous Locations in New York

  • Yankee Stadium
Even those who aren’t fans of America’s pastime love to visit Yankee Stadium. It was once home to the team who played alongside Babe Ruth, and the Yankees have won many pennants over the years.

  • Central Park
Central Park has been made famous in multiple movies and television shows, including Home Alone 2. It’s a place where many couples go to get engaged, too. Today, Central Park is one of the most beautiful green spaces in the city. It’s clean, and one will enjoy romantic walks in the park too.
