About Atlanta

There are so many wonderful places in the south which draw tourists in each and every year. One of the hot spots in this region of the country is Atlanta, as it is a big city with southern charm. One of the biggest draws here is the history that this city holds. It is a really important spot to check out when you want to learn about civil rights and the history that comes with it.

The people are so friendly here, and there is no shortage of things to do. This is a very social city, and you can find a festival or some sort of event going on all year long. When it comes to tourism, Atlanta has it all with a wonderful climate, many attractions, and some of the best dining. If you are looking for a dance shoot location in Atlanta, then you want to take your time to pick from some of the best locations within the city.

Dance Shoot Options in Atlanta

When you are planning for a dance shoot location in Atlanta, you want it all to come together flawlessly. There is much to think about because you want perfection and photos and videos that you can use moving forward. If you find yourself planning for this you need a great spot to shoot, and you also need the right vendors. Here are a few key components to making this Atlanta dance shoot a true success.

  • Photographer
You want a great photographer to capture all the magic. If they have video capability that’s even better, as then you have options for the way in which you will use the footage. You want somebody talented and that has done this sort of work before.

  • Dancers or Talent
The key focus of a dance shoot is of course the dancers. You need talent, hopefully within your given genre that can pull it all together. This may include a choreographer or some other sort of icon to focus on. There will likely be certain fundamentals the dancers must cover, and so you want to take your time to pick the right ones.

  • Props
This may not necessarily be something that you think of in advance, but props really matter. Be sure to consider which props fit with your idea and overall theme. If you want to really take your production up a notch then you need the right props. This will help to make it successful and memorable, and ultimately help you to reach your goals.

Dance Shoot Companies in Atlanta

When you plan to have a dance shoot in Atlanta, then you want the best vendors in town. You simply can’t go wrong with these vendors as they will really help to elevate your production. This is what you want to find in a partner that can help to make your Atlanta dance shoot truly successful.

  • Corey Reese Photography
A great photographer can do wonderful things, and this is a perfect example. You can hire Corey Reese to record the shoot and help bring your ideas to life. It’s even better if they can help with the video component, which many can. They know what you might be looking for, and they can help to pull it all together in the most professional and creative way possible.
  • Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA)
The MJCCA could be a great avenue for finding dancers for your dance shoot, particularly once you nail down the location. It can be helpful to talk to dance instructors as they themselves may volunteer for your shoot. If nothing else, you may be able to find some dancers interested in being a part of your dance shoot.

  • Atlanta Props
You will likely need some props for your dance shoot, and Atlanta Props has it all and then some. You can find so many different options, and it may even help to get your ideas flowing. Whether you have an idea or theme already established or even if you need a bit of motivation or inspiration, then they can help you with that too.

Pros and Cons of a Dance Shoot in Atlanta

If you are going to search out a dance shoot location in Atlanta, then you want to really know your stuff. Not only do you want to find the best spots, but you want to know all about the city as well.

Advantages

  • You can get outside
There are a lot of beautiful parks and recreation to enjoy. If you just want to get outside and enjoy nature, there are some great spots for that. Even just having the option of dining outside is great, and you can enjoy this almost year-round.

  • Mild winters
Tying into that theme, there is a great overall climate to enjoy here for most of the year. Though it’s not a tropical destination, you can really enjoy some milder winters here.

  • So many great festivals
Along with the multiple attractions to take in and enjoy, you can also find some amazing festivals too. There are many cultural festivals that honor the great diversity in Atlanta.

Disadvantages

  • The Bugs
You might not realize how much of a disadvantage this really is until you live it. The bugs here are numerous and often difficult to deal with.

  • Competition Is high
You will find that competition can be high for certain things here such as jobs. But this can be a benefit to you if you are looking for talent to hire.

  • So many people
Again, though you may expect to find big crowds in a big city, some may be surprised by just how populated it really is. This isn’t to say that you see a ton of people walking around the streets night and day, but there is definitely an element of overcrowding.
