We looked everywhere in LA to find a venue for our wedding “Welcome Gathering” and were ready to give up until we found this lovely warehouse space. It was the absolute perfect fit. Not only is it affordable and capable of supporting a higher capacity (we had 75 guests), it included everything we needed for our event: farmhouse tables, benches, chairs, lighting, speakers, parking, etc. All of our guests loved the venue. The hosts, Sarah and Jason were really responsive, kind, and accommodating as well. Highly recommend!

Top Features to Look for in an Industrial Location

What are the key features that make certain warehouse film locations a great fit for your project? Look for spaces that offer the following.

What sort of emotions does it evoke when you see it on screen? Consider your creative vision when deciding on the right warehouse for you.

Ensure facilities and access. The best warehouse locations offer all the key amenities you need for your shoot, whether that means large roller-door access, abundant floor space, private parking, on-site kitchen and bathroom spaces, or anything else. Hidden Costs for Productions at an Industrial Location

There are many more costs to consider for a film project than just hiring film locations. And while spaces on the Giggster app start from as little as $49/hour, here are a few other key expenses you need to budget for.

Factor in props and decorations.

While you may have found the perfect location to film, keep in mind that you may also need to hire props and backdrops to create the look you want. Other set decorations and design touches can also increase your spending.

Budget for crew and equipment hire.

Need to rent extra cameras, microphones, lighting, or audio equipment for your shoot? This sort of professional gear often doesn't come cheap, and you'll also need to factor in the cost of hiring any extra camera operators, audio experts, post-production companies, make-up artists, and more for your shoot.

Do you have a cleaning crew?

Your expenses don't stop stacking up once the cameras stop rolling. You may also need to pay professional cleaners to tidy the warehouse location, remove and junk, and return it to its original condition.
