Desert Ranch House

About the Space

With excellent faraway views and intense, flamingo sunsets, our modern, desert ranch house is black against the subtle desert landscape, with rusty corrugate feature walls. There is a 1954 Spartanette guest trailer with original, interior wood paneling and it is all set on 2.3 acres of rural Yucca Valley. Our patio stretches the length of the house with two giant, 1,200 year old Joshua Trees overlooking it. There is large farm table dining and a shaded, modern outdoor living area, with modern oat sofas and a gas fireplace. There is an outdoor, gold, clawfoot tub set in a pretty bathing area. Inside, the living areas are desert gothic with lots of black and gold with pops of interesting wallpaper (which can be covered if need be), detailed wood work and rich paint colors. There are lots of directions to shoot much beautiful background detail. We have very unique and interesting bathrooms. The newly-remodeled chef's kitchen (that is actually a chef's) has white counter-tops, slick, apple-green cabinets, hanging pots and pans, a 48", 6-burner plus griddle, double-oven range and offers a modern country feel, ready to shoot a cooking show. There is a working 1975, black and gold patina Chevy pick up that always looks the part parked in the driveway. We will update photos once the in ground pool goes in, late 2022.
