This is an original 1910 heritage studio near Lower Lonsdale in North Vancouver with 12 foot ceilings, original hardwood flooring and exposed brick features. The studio faces south so you get incredible natural light all year long with our large south facing windows. The space is minimally decorated with a blend of mid-century and modern furniture pieces. The space is ideal for intimate lifestyle, portrait, and product photography shoots. The studio includes two rooms: a large open space and one separate room. There is one bathroom, a small kitchen and a ton of open living space. The second room is perfect as a change room or makeup room, video interviews or even podcast recording. The space is also filled with plants in all the rooms which gives the studio a wonderfully lush feeling. The entire studio has a neutral, clean and extremely curated aesthetic. It's filled with neutral tones like blush, clay, beige and green. Furniture, plants and certain styling props can be rearranged if needed. Your rental also includes: - multiple sets of furniture as pictured - 4 seamless paper backdrops 12' tall x 9' wide (blush, misti blue, black, white - extra charge please inquire) - studio light kit 650, 350, 150 watt (at extra charge please inquire) - 2 light stands (extra charge please inquire first) - free wifi - wheelchair accessible - Sonos sound system - 1 tripod - clothing rack - 2 living spaces for photoshoots - living room - changing room / makeup room - bathroom - kitchen Our studio is also conveniently located beside a coffee shop, multiple breweries and restaurants. IMPORTANT: We've found that 90% of bookings require a minimum of 3 hours based on feedback thus far.

FLOORS: Please do not drag furniture, no stiletto or high shoes which may damage the floor may be worn. The cost of repair or replacement flooring will be added to the final invoice if there is damage. MOVING FURNITURE: All heavy planters and mirrors cannot be moved and must remain in their spot to avoid damage to the flooring. PARKING: There are 2 designated parking spots behind the building of 252 marked "STIL Classics Inc" and there is plenty of street parking around as well. BOOKING TIME: Please be respectful of your booking times, and make sure that your party arrives and departs within your scheduled time slot. If you are running late for your booking, please inform Marissa (6043751326) as soon as possible – and any unscheduled overtime use of the studio will be added to your invoice and charged per the hour. TAGGING: For all behind-the-scenes photos please tag our social media [email hidden] GARBAGE: All shoot garbage must be taken with you at the end of your shoot. We can provide garbage bags if needed. Equipment, valuables and personal injury are not the responsibility of the owners of The Carriage Studio and the correct insurance by the production team / client should be in place at the time of the shoot. We do not accept liability for personal injuries or the death of any person in connection with the shoot and any loss or damage to any part of the location whilst the location is being rented. This booking agreement does not act as a tenancy agreement and the owner will retain full and exclusive possession of the location.

I can't praise Marissa's studio enough! It's even more beautiful in person and has so many thoughtful touches. You can really tell that a lot of time and effort went into the creation of this studio and was perfect for our brand photoshoot. It was clean, had lots of different decor items that really gave our shots the versatility that we needed and is in a great location. I can't wait to book again!
