Wow, what a beautiful space! Bigger than we expected from the photos, open space, and very clean. The pool table was an added bonus! It was perfect for hosting an event with 60 people with music at night. Brittany was very friendly and communication was clear, meeting her for the keys went smoothly as well. Would definitely recommend this space and hope to book with Brittany again soon.

A super accessible, bright, clean space with beautiful lighting that changes throughout the day - but not too quickly, giving you lots of time to access the same background for a few hours at a time. We used the space to film multiple scenes for an acting class. It's not a big space, but it was large enough that we were able to create a different feel in each corner of the room. The red wall is beautiful. The windows are charming. The entry door provides some interesting textures. There are some nice pieces of furniture to use. Noise wise, the room is off Cambie, and so we were surprised how quiet it was when we closed the windows. The hosts, Brit and Kristi, were super communicative and worked patiently with us as we discovered the ins and outs of the building. Highly recommend.

Tips on How to Organize Creative Office Spaces in Vancouver

Establishing an inspiring workspace in Vancouver can be a great way to encourage productivity and effectiveness while also upping the morale of your employees. Here are some tips on how to organize creative office spaces in Vancouver that will help you make the most of your workspace.

  • Utilize natural light: Natural light is proven to boost creativity and efficiency levels in employees, so it’s important to take advantage of the available natural light in your office space. If you don’t have access to natural light, try installing LED lights that mimic natural sunlight throughout the day.

  • Incorporate plants into the design: Plants can not only add life to an otherwise dull office atmosphere; they can also improve air quality while reducing stress levels. Include a few low-maintenance plants throughout your workspace to create a calming atmosphere while helping reduce stress levels.

  • Focus on ergonomics: Having furniture that supports healthy posture is essential when it comes to setting up a creative workspace, as poor posture can cause fatigue over time and lead to reduced productivity levels. Invest in adjustable chairs with lumbar support along with ergonomic keyboards and mice to keep your body comfortable during long hours of sitting at a desk.

  • Add artwork and decorations: Artwork doesn't just add personality to an otherwise dull industrial space. It's also been proven to boost the creativity and energy levels of those who work in its presence, giving them the fuel they need when working on tough projects or trying to think outside the box. Choose artwork that encourages creative thinking while remaining within budget restrictions; things like textured wallpapers or simple paintings could do the trick!

  • Let everyone make it their own: Even if you are using the space for just a few hours, allow everyone to personalize their space. This could mean displaying motivational quotes around their assigned area to help foster engagement and make them feel more connected with their job which leads to increased motivation overall!

Famous Locations in Vancouver

  • Arbutus Greenway
The Arbutus Greenway is a great urban oasis that runs through Vancouver, and it's worth exploring, especially if you haven't yet taken a ride along it. It was formerly an old railway line but now walkers and cyclists can enjoy a wonderful pathway, running from False Creek to the Fraser River. Along the way, you'll pass by urban gardens and little farms at West 6th Avenue. Such scenes of serenity are hard to come by and you’ll be grateful for having decided on this fun (and free) activity.

  • Stanley Park Totem Poles
Stanley Park’s totem poles are a breathtaking sight to behold. Situated at Brockton Point, the nine giant cedar carvings majestically overlook the Vancouver Harbour and stunning downtown skyline. To appreciate these works of art, it’s important to understand their origins. Originally carved from Giant Red Cedar by indigenous communities from North West Canada, each pole is a unique tribute to the culture that created it. Despite having been moved in the 1960s from their original location at Lumberman's Arch, these majestic totems remain one of the most popular attractions in Vancouver today.

  • The Words Don’t Fit The Picture
Ron Terada's artwork The Words Don't Fit The Picture is impossible to miss at the busy intersection outside Vancouver Public Library. Its vibrant aluminum construction and expansive 1,280 LED lights form a sight that looms large against the night sky. This piece has captivated locals with its mix of pop culture allusions, art history references, and thought-provoking undertones. Installed in 2010 as part of the Olympic and Paralympic Public Art Program, this art installation continues to contribute to the city’s artistic landscape. It serves as a reminder that Vancouver's past was celebrated for its illuminated streets—a legacy that lives on in this contemporary masterpiece.
