This 1400 sq ft, stand-alone converted garage with curtained performance space, 8x6x22 ft stage, separate kitchen and changing room, bathroom, and beautiful lobby space is perfect for photo shoots, meetings, small performances, workshops, and classes.
Curtains can be retracted or removed to expose iron windows that let in UNBELIEVABLE lighting, and the curtain that divides the lobby from the performance space can be retracted to open the entire space.
Interior design elements make the space feel like an eclectic urban loft with beautifully colored walls, and vintage lighting.
Space includes: single bathroom with sink, separate kitchenette with sink, mini fridge, filtered water dispenser, coffee/tea maker, clothing rack, changing room, and 12 ft ladders, 35 folding chairs, basic set props, 4 black wood blocks, marble top bistro table, leather sofa, leather chairs, 2 TANDUM PARKING SPOTS IN GATED LOT, wifi, Sonos, A/C and heating, basic stage lighting available.

Charming Old World Community Library in Former Bar

This independent experimental library has been used as a location for scenes as a coffeeshop, apartment, and (of course) a library, as well as staging areas for cast, crew and craft service during outdoor shoots in and around Humboldt Park.
In the Reading Room, you'll be surrounded by the most eclectic collection of Chicago-crafted books, newspapers, magazines, comics, zines, artist books, journals, plans, novels, chapbooks, and cookbooks. The 600 square foot Reading Room has been called “cozy and welcoming” by the Chicago Reader, and yet is very flexible with chairs and tables that fold and a ramp for easy equipment load-in.
The 1,000 square foot Exhibition Room (in the process of being photographed) is adjacent and has access both from outside and through the Reading Room. This room is a combination of dark turquoise walls, exposed brick, and glass block, with dark carpeting. It also has an exposed beam timber ceiling, as well as flexible furnishings and a moveable stage.
Orpheum Theater, Los Angeles
Recently renovated as a live theater, concert hall and flim screening venue.Now under management of the The Orpheum’s spacious orchestra, loge, balcony, and side boxes offer newly-installed upholstered seats and comfortable accommodation for over 2,000 people.
The first five rows of seats can be removed to create extra space for camera crews, a dance floor and a variety of other needs.
The main floor and balcony are wheelchair accessible.

The venue is a beautiful state-of-the-art 144 seat theatre. We have a few different spaces. Our Main Stage seats 144 total, with 119 in the Orchestra (stage level), 21 in the Balcony, and our 2 private Presidential Boxes. We are also home to a Bar & Lounge (on the second floor) which includes our Cabaret Stage.
Base Rental Rate of $180 includes rental for the Lobby, Bar & Lounge, and Theater only
Any food or drink must be provided by the venue.

2. What is the layout of the space, and how can different areas be used?
a) Our dome is completely customizable. You can also bring in bags and utilize our couches for seating.
b) In addition to renting our dome, we are also happy to produce visual dome content for you.
c) For bigger events, you can also rent the building our dome is located on which fits 1200 people including a 300 seat movie theatre with stage.
d) You can also rent the entire studio (20 acres) for events up to 10,000 people.
3. Is your space easy to get to? What's nearby?
a) Yes, we are located one block away from the 110 freeway shortly after the 10 freeway. You can also pull up trucks right next to our dome for easy deliveries and food truck availability.
b) Easy parking (we have 1200 underground spots). We also offer valet and a drop off for ubers/lyfts right near the dome.
c) Nearby is Staples Center, Los Angeles Convention Center, 1010 Wilshire, Pershing Square, Koreatown, Alvarado Terrace, Disney Music Hall, Ahmanson Theatre.
4. What unique features or amenities does your space have?
a) We have one of the best views of the LA City Skyline you will see in an event space, plus the power of the visuals projected in our dome has all of our guests loving the experience.
b) Our space is extremely unique as most people who attend your event have never been inside a movie studio before, let alone a dome.
c) We also have a full catering staff on site, one floor beneath our dome which makes delivering fresh hot food to clients is easy.
5. How many guests fit comfortably standing versus seated?
a) You can seat up to 120 people or 220 people standing. If you have the stage removed you can fit more. Our stage comes in 6 pieces so it is easy to customize any size stage you like.
