Picturesque log cabin nestled on 2.5 acres of groomed and ungroomed land. Connected to a 255 acre preservation with mountain views and the Adirondack trail fully accessible a few feet away from the property. The trail is inclusive of private wooden benches looking out over the stream and small waterfall in a heavily forested setting. The log cabin itself is epic with majestic exposed posts and beams handcrafted from solid Canadian Engleman Spruce logs, some as large as 23" round. The open floor plan makes the intricate construction details come alive from every angle. The "Character logs", the stacked wall corners and the stone Fireplace all excel. Abundance of natural light coming from the open loft is mesmerizing. The large open living area includes the Kitchen with SS appliances, a custom-designed Island and Dining Room w/ a sliding door that opens to a private back yard. Outside the wrap-around decking extends along the front & sides of the house, w/ramp to Master bedroom entrance and a 2-car detached Garage. The Master Bedroom, Master Bath & Powder Room are all on the 1st floor. Privacy is truly your neighbor, this home partially borders the evergreen Fuller Mountain Creek/Preserve owned by Orange County Land Trust.
