This location was absolutely perfect for my shoot. Krenee and her team were amazing, they paid attention to detail, and provided excellent service prior to meeting and in real time. The space was clean, neat, and well equipped for all my needs. Truly enjoy my time filming here because they kept me so engaged throughout the whole thing, made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. I will definitely be back! A small but mighty space for sure. The pricing and service is on matched!

Great shooting location. We could have been better guests. I trapped one of the hosts’ cars in the garage with mine and we had some miscommunication on our team regarding timing resulting in our going over an hour, which inconvenienced our hosts, who were expecting guests. Nonetheless, Stefan was gracious about accommodating us. Again, great location, beautiful mid century home as advertised, with excellent decor.

The place was absolutely beautiful. The host, Katherine, was very kind and gave my crew and me access to everything we needed for my film. She was very specific of everything that works, all her previous clientele, and through the end, was a new, exciting experience. I loved every part of the location and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something inexpensive, yet a beauty to the eye.

We rented this space for two video shoot for our symphonic metal band. The place was absolutely spectacular, and the photos do not do it justice. Dave, the host is the coolest and friendliest host I have ever worked with. He was extremely communicative in answering any questions or concerns. For anyone who is looking for a world class place to film or shoot, this is your choice!

Really great experience. The studio manager Anthony made the entire process very simple and went above and beyond accommodating our crew. The studio is as advertised and has a variety of different sets within the one location. I highly recommend this studio and will be shooting here again ASAP.

Our team had a 2 day shoot at this location and it was fantastic for all our needs. It was really great to find a space that had parking for our cast and crew so we didn't need to worry about that logistic. Adam and his team, and everyone at the church, were amazing to work with and great at answering all our questions, or communicating with us while on location. We had a great shoot and would really recommend this space!

Pros and Cons of Filming in Omaha

Omaha, Nebraska, has recently become a major filming hub for many productions due to its variety of shooting locations and cost-effectiveness. However, it is important to consider the Pros and Cons of filming in Omaha before deciding.

Advantages

  • Omaha boasts diverse settings – from rural farmland to urban streets and industrial areas – offering filmmakers plenty of creative opportunities.

  • Filming in the city is relatively cost-effective due to incentives such as tax credits and rebates on hotel stays and other related expenses.

  • Omaha's robust infrastructure provides easy access to transportation services like bus lines, airports, and railways. This simplifies getting actors, crew members, equipment, and props to the right locations quickly and efficiently.

Disadvantages

  • Because it's not a major film hub like Los Angeles or New York City, Omaha may lack certain resources for larger productions, such as specialized equipment or crews with extensive experience in specific genres or disciplines.

  • Nebraska has fairly strict labor laws that may pose challenges for filmmakers from out-of-state organizations looking to employ professionals while shooting in Omaha.

  • The weather in Nebraska can be unpredictable at times; sudden storms can arise without warning which could cause delays in production schedules if proper planning isn't done ahead of time.

Tips on How to Organize Filming in Omaha

The filmmaking process can be overwhelming, especially your first time. Here are a few tips to help you organize and make the most of your shoot:

  • Plan: This may seem common sense, but planning is critical in any project. Make a shot list and storyboard, and determine what you need equipment-wise. This will help you stay organized on the day of the shoot.

  • Delegate tasks: Assign specific tasks to different people on set and ensure everyone knows what they are responsible for. This will help avoid confusion and ensure everyone is on the same page.

  • Stay calm and organized: The shoot day can be chaotic, but stay calm and focused. If something goes wrong, take a deep breath and figure out a solution. The more organized you are, the smoother the shoot will go.
