This place is very cool. It is a warehouse setting but that also mean loud music is a go. Parking is right there. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Really won't matter what you want to do here at this even space becuase it can really accommodate as far as looks and setting. Deon and Antuan are amazing to work with. Only suggestion is I would have liked to know the fees before hand, but they were little items.

This location is gorgeous and perfectly designed/decorated for any hi-tech, futuristic/cyborg, sci-fi theme. We shot comfortably and the host accommodated us so gracefully. Max is super helpful and friendly and was present during the whole booking to answer any questions and provide any assistance. I absolutely recommend this location for shooting or even just hosting a gaming party. Thank you so much!!!

The owner was very accommodating with last minute date changes we needed to make and with our large cast. The cost of fees was higher then usual (for fees in person at the location - site rep and cleaning fees- and processing/damage fees through giggster it added up to another $600+ for a 5 hour shoot). Our on site rep didn't speak much english but he was very nice. The location wasn't extremely clean but that was the vibe we wanted for our shoot. I would say its a good location depending what you're going for, just recommend the location lower all the extra fees as that would keep me from booking again. They also had quite a bit of confusion that we were coming. From what we understand something with the booking got confused on their end and we had to show them screen shots of the booking.

About Indianapolis

Indianapolis, or Indy as it is known, is the state capital of Indiana. Besides being the most populous city in the state of Indiana, it is also known for the iconic Indianapolis 500 and the racetrack that hosts it. Besides racing, Indy is known to have abundant green space, featuring lots of natural parks and places to visit in the great outdoors.

As far as climate, Indianapolis is relatively dry and mild for most of the year, with the winter varying from slightly cold to downright frigid depending on the snow and other factors. The little rain and large population makes finding a concert venue a bit easier and with a city this size finding an audience shouldn’t be too hard either.

Concert Options in Indianapolis

Concerts aren’t just shows, they are experiences. However, putting on one of these experiences takes a lot of work. Having all the equipment and tools necessary to put on the show after you’ve even found the right Indianapolis concert venue can be difficult. Indy has everything you’ll need, from sound and lighting to new instruments and repairs so all you have to do is focus on getting ready for the show.

  • Instruments
If you’re going to put on a concert of any sort, then you need your instruments to be in good shape. Whether this means you need new gear, just need to rent a few pieces or want your own gear tuned up to make sure it's in tip top shape, it’s a good idea to check out one of the many instrument shops in Indy to get everything in order before the big show.

  • Sound
You can’t put on a concert if you don’t sound good. That includes not just instruments, but the actual devices you use to project sound to the audience, namely microphones, speakers, mixers, and other audio equipment. You may have some of your own, but you can’t always expect the Indianapolis concert venue to supply you with what you need. It's important to seek out equipment suppliers to get what you require before the show gets here.

  • Lighting
Part of the atmosphere of any good concert is the lighting, whether you’re a jazz band, rock legend, or throwing a rave style dance concert, the lighting sets the mood for the entire show. While a good concert venue will have some lighting, if you’re trying to make your show the best it can be, then it’s a good idea to try and customize your setup and rent or buy what you need.

Concert Companies in Indianapolis

Putting on a concert is a challenge at best, but an interesting one. Call on the experts to make your concert venue in Indianapolis the best.

  • Sam Ash Music Stores
While it is now a renowned chain of stores that sell instruments, the original Sam Ash was opened in 1924. If you’re looking to upgrade or just find a backup, this is the place to go.

  • Indy Pro Audio
Having great audio equipment can make a mediocre concert excellent but knowing how to operate it all can be a challenge. Luckily, Indy Pro Audio not only has all the sound equipment you need, they can also help with live event management so that you don’t go into your concert without the know-how how to operate everything.

  • Midwest Grip and Lighting
A great lighting setup only adds to a concert to make it better. However lighting is about more than just stage lights, it’s about making the performance something more than what it was to begin with. Midwest Grip and Lighting offers a full range of lighting options from spotlights and floodlights to control panels for sophisticated displays.

Pros and Cons of Concerts in Indianapolis

Indianapolis has a lot to offer both residents and guests. As the capital of Indiana it has plenty of culture, history, and things to do as well. With all those positives though, it has its share of negatives as well. Here are some of the pros and cons of Indianapolis.

Advantages

  • Cost of living
Despite being a big city and the capital of Indiana, the relative cost of living is lower than similar cities. This can make paying for a concert venue and equipment a bit cheaper, which can be easier on musicians that are still trying to make it.

  • Location
Indianapolis has a lot to offer residents and visitors, but it also has the added benefit of being near other major cities like Chicago. This is excellent for those that like to travel or musicians looking for their next gig.
  • Lots of culture
Indianapolis is a city full of people and culture and that makes it easier to find the perfect audience for your concerts, plus the right Indianapolis concert venue as well.

Disadvantages

  • Traffic
Indianapolis is like many medium and large cities, it has a lot of people driving cars. As a result, traffic is a nightmare. It’s important to make sure that your Indianapolis concert venue is accessible and that there’s plenty of parking.

  • Poor public transit
Driving around in Indianapolis can be a hassle, but unfortunately the public transportation system does not offer a solution. This means it can be difficult to find a way around for concert goers if you choose an out of the way venue.

  • Weather
Indianapolis is known to have moderate weather most of the year, but the winter is when things can really become harsh. While it varies widely by year, snow and frigid temperatures are fairly common.
