The South Coast Plaza is a large shopping center with over 270 stores and some incredible architecture.

  • Culture

  • Crowds
The secret is out. Costa Mesa is a great location for production space. There will be competition for the best production space venues in the city, so book early if you have a particular location in mind.

  • Costa Mesa Art Walk
Going on the Costa Mesa Art Walk is a must-do in the City of the Arts. This self-guided walk has over 20 pieces of art located throughout the city, and visitors can go and view all of them for free, whether it is a sculpture or a playfully painted piano.

  • Noguchi Garden
The Noguchi Garden (aka California Scenario) is actually part of the Costa Mesa Art Walk. But, if you can only choose one of the art displays to visit, this is the one. It’s a nationally known sculpture garden and was designed to represent the state of California through each of the unique sculptures. The Spirit of the Lima Bean sculpture is perhaps the one most Instagram-worthy.

  • Fairview Park
There certainly is a fair view in Fairview Park. It’s 208-acres and includes open space, trails, a miniature railroad, and a field, especially for flying model airplanes.
