This was a great experience overall. Ed is one of the most gracious and hospitable person I’ve met. He was a constant professional, punctual and readily available. The location was perfect in every way, the mood, access, staging, parking, etc. So much land and the fact there’s rarely any traffic on the road or overhead (planes) made this location ideal for sound. If this look and feel of this location speaks to you, grab it because it’s a rare gem of a location with a great owner.

What to Look for in Kid-Friendly Venues

  • Safety
The first and foremost consideration when choosing a kid-friendly venue is safety. Parents should make sure that the playground they choose has all of the necessary safety gear in place, including soft padded areas, guard rails on slides, and height restrictions for certain rides. It's also important to look for signs that indicate that the equipment is regularly maintained and inspected for any potential hazards or defects.

If there are multiple activities planned throughout the day, parents should also look for a venue with enough room to designate different areas for each activity as well as room for seating for adults who are supervising their children.
  • Age Appropriateness
When selecting a kid-friendly venue, parents should look at what age groups it caters to because not all playgrounds are suitable for every child's age range. Playgrounds have different features such as swingsets and slides for other age groups. Parents want to make sure they find one that matches their child’s age group as closely as possible to ensure an enjoyable experience without danger of injury or injury or boredom on rides too easy or too hard.
  • Atmosphere
Once natural factors like safety and age appropriateness have been checked off, parents should consider how they feel about the atmosphere of a particular kid’s venue. Is it clean? Is there enough open space? Are there other amenities nearby if needed? Paying attention to these details helps create an environment in which kids will love spending time with their friends and family members alike!

How to Make Kid-Friendly Events Better

  • Create a Welcoming Atmosphere
To keep kids happy at an event, create an inviting environment with decorations and interesting elements. Set up seating areas for parents so they can supervise their children from nearby while enjoying conversations with other guests at the same time.

Depending on the age range, schedule activities to keep kids entertained and engaged throughout. This could include board games, arts and crafts projects, scavenger hunts, sports tournaments, or interactive storytelling sessions. It's also important to have age-appropriate items available to avoid overwhelming young guests.

  • Offer Delicious Snacks
For any kind of kid’s event, snacks should always be available. Provide healthy options like fruits and veggies lean proteins, and whole grains that are easy for children to eat without making a mess. Also, plan special treats like setting up cookie decorating or DIY pizza stations that will get everyone involved in the fun! Avoid sugary snacks which can lead to hyperactivity and crankiness after eating them!

  • Keep It Clean
Kids naturally make messes, so it’s essential to plan ahead by choosing a venue that’s easy to keep tidy. Ask about janitorial services if necessary and provide enough garbage cans for the event. Consider hiring volunteers or staff to take care of messes during the event so that you don’t have too much cleaning up afterward.

  • Follow Safety Guidelines
Always adhere to safety guidelines established by your venue when hosting a kid-friendly event. Have an emergency plan in place in case something unexpected happens during the activity and be sure that all staff members know what it is ahead of time so they can act quickly if necessary.
