Exactly what we needed for our apparel collection photoshoot. Small space with excellent natural light. Pros: - Excellent communication and information by host - Great pricing - Some backdrops, stools, entry level lighting gear, and misc. items included - Lots of street parking right in front of studio depending on time of day - Clean space Suggestions / tips: - There was only a very small trash can that was already filled. If you foresee having some trash, bring some bags. - The elevator was out of order for our shoot. So if you have a lot of gear, you'll need some help as there are a series of stairs to the second floor.

About Camping Wedding

A distinctive backdrop that honors love in the great outdoors is provided by camping wedding locations, which offer a harmonious fusion of romanticism and the natural world's simplicity. These locations are highly valued due to their breathtaking scenery, which provides expansive views that transform being married into an exciting journey. The joy is in the ease of saying "I do" beneath the stars or in a serene forest surrounded by nature's beauty.

Whether it's a small gathering around a campfire or a large procession through woodland paths, these locations offer a limitless canvas of choices for the host or wedding coordinator. Visitors love the chance to get away from the grind and spend a weekend celebrating friendship and celebration; they frequently stay in the resort's quaint cottages or upscale tents.

"Is there any setting more magical than exchanging vows surrounded by the whispers of nature?" Those who want a wedding that is a perfect balance of festivity and tranquility may wonder about this. Above all, camping wedding venues put emphasis on creating an immersive experience so that guests will remember the celebration for its joy as well as the allure of nature.

The Best Camping Wedding Venues

Romantic weddings can integrate with nature's beauty. Couples can opt for camping weddings to exchange their vows under the stars or amidst nature. Picking the right site for such an event may be exciting and essential since each has its own atmosphere and activities. For outdoor weddings, here are some unique settings.

  • Secluded Forest Clearings
In the heart of the woods, a clearing emerges as a natural sanctuary, perfect for an intimate ceremony. The music of birds and rustling leaves set a serene soundtrack, while the existing flora provides a lush backdrop, minimizing the need for additional decoration. Reception activities can unfold in harmony with nature, from cozy campfires to stargazing. One must consider accessibility for guests and accommodations for unpredictable weather, yet for the true nature lover, these minor challenges are far outweighed by the setting's inherent charm and tranquility.
  • Lakeside Retreats
By the tranquil shores of a lake, the reflective waters can witness your union. Lakeside venues offer ample space for larger gatherings and activities like swimming and boating, adding a playful element to the festivities. The open space is ideal for dining al fresco and dancing beneath string lights as they flicker like fireflies. Although these venues afford stunning views, they might require significant logistical planning to ensure privacy and all-day comfort for guests.
  • Mountainscape Resorts
Mountain resorts offer the ideal setting for couples with high-altitude enthusiasm, promising awe-inspiring sunsets and warm huddles to share stories with. These venues often offer comprehensive packages, including lodging and dining, simplifying the complexities of event planning. However, awareness of altitude considerations for guests and ensuring straightforward navigability on potentially rugged terrain are essential factors to keep in mind.
  • Desert Oases
The desert, with its vastness and unique beauty, presents a dramatic stage for those who dare to be different. A wedding amidst dunes under a vast, star-filled sky offers visual drama and immense privacy. With fewer natural props, a blank canvas lends itself to creative decoration, allowing the couple to imprint their personal touch across the venue. Preparing for extreme weather conditions and ensuring guest comfort in such remote regions is imperative to the desert wedding experience.

What to Look for in Camping Wedding Venues

When the whispers of nature beckon you to exchange vows amidst its tranquil setting, finding the perfect camping wedding venue becomes your canvas of love. Here's a guide to selecting a site that paints the picture-perfect day you envision:

  • Scalable Spaces
Consider the guest capacity of the venue—it should be able to comfortably fit your gathering without feeling cramped. Look for adaptable open spaces that allow you to tailor the seating arrangements and festivities to the size of your audience.
  • Layout and Accessibility
The venue's layout is essential—it must seamlessly accommodate the flow of your ceremony to the revelry of the reception. Look also for pathways that are accessible to guests of all ages and abilities, ensuring that everyone can move quickly between the campsite, ceremony, and celebration areas.
  • Ambiance and Style
The venue should resonate with the aesthetic you desire for your wedding. Whether it's rustic charm or woodland elegance, the style of the space will set the stage and ambiance for your event. Seek out locations where nature's beauty effortlessly complements your wedding theme.
  • Amenities and Services
Even in the great outdoors, certain comforts are non-negotiable. Ascertain if the venue provides critical services like catering options, sanitary facilities, electricity, and shelter options in case of inclement weather. These amenities are vital for the convenience and comfort of your guests.

Camping Wedding Inspiration

Crafting an idyllic union beneath the open skies and amidst nature's beauty can be romantic and adventurous. A camping wedding marries the rustic charm of the outdoors with the sacred celebration of love. Here are several imaginative ideas for locations and themes that capture the essence of a camping wedding while steering clear of the common choices.

  • Enchanted Woodland Gathering
Imagine exchanging vows surrounded by ancient trees and a circle of your nearest and dearest. Transform a local woodland area into a fairy-tale setting with string lights, rustic décor, and a canopy of leaves overhead. The air, filled with the woodlands' natural orchestra, sets a magical stage for your special day.
  • Coastal Campsite Festival
Take advantage of peaceful beaches by hosting a camping wedding where the forest meets the sea. Create a relaxed vibe with beach bonfires, surf-side tents for guests, and an aisle marked by seashells and driftwood. It's the perfect blend of sun, surf, and celebrations.
  • Vintage Campground Affair
Revive the nostalgia of old-school camping at a historic campground. Utilize vintage trailers or campervans as unique lodging options for guests, with retro-inspired décor to match. Include classic camp activities like group storytelling or a ukulele serenade around the campfire.
  • Orchard Escape Ceremony: Picture saying "I do" amidst bountiful fruit trees in a private orchard. Set up an open-air dining area among the trees and celebrate with a harvest-inspired feast featuring locally sourced produce. It's an intimate space that feels both exclusive and down-to-earth.
  • Rural Farm Homestead
Transform a farm homestead into a camping wedding destination with a pastoral twist. Use the barn as a dance hall, have a petting zoo for entertainment, and pitch luxurious tents in the nearby fields. The backdrop of rolling hills and grazing animals adds a tranquil yet joyous element to your nuptial festivities.
