Welcome to Brooklyn Optics, our historic four-story building in Williamsburg, a 1920s industrial space that blends rich history with modern production possibilities. Perfect for projects with abandoned, haunted, or vacant settings, our complex also provides an acoustically controlled environment ideal for audio recordings and interviews, thanks to its solid brick and concrete construction.
Our authentic location has drawn major productions, including those by BBC, FOX News, and Cosmopolitan. Previously home to a thriving woodworking and production company, the space still operates a multi-material workshop. Our collection of unique vintage props, along with access to vintage materials, adds character to any display or set design.
Today, the workshop serves as a community resource, where I volunteer to teach woodworking, craft skills, and hand tool techniques. Our space even extends to three rooftop gardens, where I share gardening skills and hands-on creations.
