This is an active woodworking/makerspace shop. In addition to woodworking, the shop is capable of welding, plasma cutting, industrial sewing - multi-material fabrication. Because of its multi-material space and tooling, the shop is ready to do "set fabrication". For production people looking for divergent & distinctive separate spaces at the same four-story location we offer multiple film shoot locations- accessed with our freight elevator. We have constant stream of ongoing projects. The shop has 2 westerly 4 inch thick glass block windows 6 ft x 6 ft which allows light yet is deceptively quiet due to its bunker 1 ft overall thick walls. Approximately at 12 ft high ceiling. As such it is an ideal audio space for those seeking documentary interviews. The shop is approximately 1,250 square feet with an additional 800 square feet for film / photo staging area. We also have an array of vintage tools and workbenches for those seeking an old world workshop environment. We have various projects with different materials such as copper, stainless steel, electrical, vintage canvas fabric etc that could be staged for a particular period set.
