what a wonderful, fun group! And so very organized...unlike anyone I've seen in my 17 years of hosting shoots: they had laminated signs for EVERYTHING. For parking, restroom, etc. That's organized! They also paid out of their pocket to have an extra-clean portapotty and had a nice handwashing station delivered. It gave me ideas how I could be a better host, I'm going to improve my handwashing station!
today was a paid set-up day for the film shoot tomorrow. I worked with their production designer digging a hole with my backhoe tractor for a quicksand effect, The designer and his assistant were both polite and professional and was careful not to ask for too much. I spent 4 hours working with them.
