The Lounge was built in the late 1940s and was initially used as the Royal New Zealand Air Force cinema. It has been beautifully refurbished as a community facility for hire comprising a large community hall, a community space with a large kitchen, and a meeting room.
The Lounge has had sound acoustic treatment bringing it to industry standard and features air conditioning/heat pumps, fibre wifi and dedicated free parking as well as free street parking.
We also manage the 1930s Art Deco Headquarters Building next door and both spaces are separated by a small open park and playground.
These facilities sit within Hobsonville Point which used to be the Air Force base and so there is lots of character and historic locations for your shoot + good eating options within walking distance.
