About the Space

Grand, historic craftsman home on a triple wide lot and large koi pond. The home has authentic craftsman styling, with 18 rooms including a large third floor open space with a bar (some renovations preclude use of some areas periodically). The entry foyer opens onto a large dining room on one side and living room on the other, both with large sliding pocket doors. Through the dining room, you enter a butler's pantry before entering the kitchen. There is a study with grand piano, a sunroom and bedroom/den on the first floor. The 2nd floor has 2 usable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The owne's bedroom has an attached outdoor patio, but we try not to rent this room if we don't have to, but it could be made available at an extra cost.

    **Incredible Shooting Location – The Henry Levy House** We had an absolutely fantastic experience shooting at this home. From the moment we arrived, the owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating—going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and successful shoot. The house itself is a filmmaker’s dream. Each room offers something unique, from elegant woodwork and period details to cozy, well-lit spaces that feel both intimate and cinematic. The variety of rooms allows for endless creative possibilities, whether you're going for a classic, vintage look or something more modern. And the entire house was clean and very open , which made setting up and moving equipment around so much easier. One of the highlights was the beautiful grand piano, which added a timeless, sophisticated touch to our shots. The craftsmanship throughout the home is breathtaking—the original wood paneling, built-ins, and stained glass details make for an incredibly rich visual backdrop. The lighting in the house is also fantastic, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light during the day and create gorgeous shadows and depth. Beyond its warmth and charm, the house also has a mysterious, slightly eerie quality that makes it perfect for projects requiring a more moody or spooky atmosphere. It’s rare to find a location that can feel both inviting and haunting, depending on how you shoot it. Overall, our experience was exceptional, and we would absolutely shoot here again. If you’re looking for a historic home with character, versatility, and an amazing host, the Henry Levy House is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!
