The restaurant, founded by former corrections officer (and a CNN Hero of the Year) Teresa Goines, provides ground-up training in the hospitality world to eligible youth 16-22, in addition to mentorship and invaluable life skills. Every element of our restaurant - from bussing and dishwashing to cooking and serving - is run by our youth, making a meal at the cafe one of the most unique dining experiences you could have.
