Snuggled in the heart of San Francisco Chinatown, the historical venue is walking distance to Union Square and SF Downtown Financial District. The venue is easily accessible by public transportation, and has public garages nearby. Once the Salvation Army Church, the venue was internationally known as the purveyor of musical instruments of the world. In 2019, it was transformed into a performing arts center and community space. Located in the corner of a historical alley, the space has an intimate atmosphere, and it is known as one of the best listening rooms in San Francisco. The venue has adjustable roll-up shutters as well as blackout curtains. Thus, we are able to provide full privacy for our guests. The venue would be a great location for multifunctional events and productions, corporate and communal gatherings, workshops, film screenings, presentations, live performances, film or photo shoots, exhibitions, VIP hosting - fundraising. Base rental includes: ^ Access to the stage. Dimensions: 23 ft (L) * 10 ft (W) * 7 inches (H) ^ Access to the venue. ( Sits 60 people max. ) ^ Access to the galeria. Approx. 20 ft (L) * 7 ft (W) * 8 ft (H) ^ Access to the backstage. Dimensions: 8 ft (L) * 8 ft (W) * 10 ft (H) ^ Access to the amenities. This venue was the perfect place to host our Volunteer Appreciation Social. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The space was clean and spacious. All our volunteers really enjoyed the Karaoke set-up, including the stage where they could perform. We will definitely be coming back!
