This is an absolutely incredible location and I couldn't think of a better place to use as the backdrop and inspiration for our Spring photoshoot! There are so many amazing spots within this location, especially if you're looking to shoot somewhere with lush foliage and unique design – it truly felt like we had ventured into the tropics. Chelsea was a very accommodating and helpful host, providing us with a clothing rack, ladder, tables, etc at our request, in addition to letting us use her indoor space. She gave a wonderful walk-through of the property upon arrival and was flexible when it came to moving furniture and decor. If you're looking to shoot somewhere luxe and tropical with vast variety and an amazing host, you won't regret booking with Chelsea!

Tips on How to Organize Ceremonies in Miami

Planning a ceremonial event can be a daunting task, especially if you are new to it. In Miami, the process can be even more challenging due to the city's unique cultural and social landscape. Here are some tips to help with the process:

  • Choose a suitable venue: Miami offers lists of spectacular venues, including beaches, hotels, museums, parks, and gardens. Consider factors like capacity, accessibility, amenities, and ambiance when making your choice.

  • Create a budget: Figure out how much you can afford to spend and allocate those funds to the various aspects of the ceremony, such as venue rental, catering, decorations, entertainment, and transportation.

  • Hire professionals: Hire a planner, a caterer, a florist, a DJ or band, a photographer/videographer, and an officiant (if applicable) to ensure that all aspects of the ceremony are handled professionally.

  • Handle transportation: Miami is a busy city with heavy traffic, so you need to plan for transportation for yourself and your guests. Get a limo, a shuttle, or a private car service to transport your guests from the airport, to the venue, and back to their accommodations.

  • Incorporate Miami's culture and heritage: Miami is a melting pot of cultures, so incorporating the city's unique cultural and heritage elements can make your ceremony more memorable and meaningful. Incorporate elements such as Latin music, Cuban cigars, Caribbean cuisine, or Art Deco decor into your ceremony.

  • Communicate clearly with your guests: Finally, ensure that your guests are well-informed about the ceremony details. Send out save-the-dates, invitations, and confirmation emails, and provide clear directions to the venue, parking, and any other pertinent information.

  • Slide Mantra
Have you ever seen a 29-ton, 10-foot-tall marble sculpture that functions as a slide? Well, Isamu Noguchi's "Slide Mantra" in Bayfront Park is just that! This Carrara marble masterpiece was created by the Japanese-American artist in 1986 for the Art Pavilion Biennial in Venice, Italy. Noguchi, who also designed Bayfront Park, believed that play could lead to a new appreciation of sculpture, and that clearly shows with this interactive piece. It's hard not to be impressed by the nautilus-shell-like beauty of the sculpture, especially as you're sliding down it. "Slide Mantra" is the perfect example of how art can be both beautiful and playful.

  • Neptune Memorial Reef
Located 40 feet below the surface of the sea, the Neptune Memorial Reef is a magnificent 16-acre cemetery that pays tribute to famous divers. Crafted as an underwater labyrinth, it mimics the mythical Lost City of Atlantis with an array of stone roads, carved lions, and immense Roman columns. Not only does Neptune Memorial Reef provide a final resting place for diving heroes, but it also serves as an artificial reef, home to a vast selection of marine life that visitors can explore. Although the site is free to experienced divers, accessing it requires gear and a boat.
