Great large shoot space and good location. Sara and co were super responsive and accommodating, even went out of their way to accommodate our need for an extra power source for a cold trailer! Driveway is large enough for multiple cars which was great. The selection of grip gear and seamless backgrounds was super helpful and lessened our load in. Only minor issue we noticed was that the floors seemed slightly older which meant that our tripod/camera set up was slightly affected as crew walked by. Was only noticeable because we were stop motion, but otherwise isn’t a huge issue.

Chelsea and Steven are wonderful hosts! We will definitely be back to this location to do more photoshoots. They have a wonderful home, amazing atmosphere, and their outside foliage is breathtaking. Thank you again for the hospitality Chelsea and Steven! We had our photoshoot during the day but I am very interested to see how at night will turn up for next time! A++++ 10/10.

This is a truly great space. This historical building corner unit has so much natural light pouring in from windows on two sides. And the detailing in this character space is a minimalists delight. Wood framed window and doors, subtle off-white walls and floors, a beautiful archway between two rooms, old radiator heaters, and curated furniture elements filled with old world character. And my favourite part, multiple rooms! Two rooms connected by the archway, and then a separate room that enters into both with wood framed doors. Creating not only lots of shoot possibilities, but also a great space to have your clients change and set up an office, that sorta thing. If you only shoot natural light, this space is a dream. And even for those who shoot strobes more (like myself) there is very little reason to here. I just brought some bounce and negative and worked with what was there. Although I would be curious to shoot the space in winter months on an overcast day when the light is flatter and way less ambient. I could see possibly wanting to have a couple lights to brings some more interesting contrast or shape to the space, but that's an experiment for another day LOL I highly recommend La Arca Studios!
