i’ve rented countless studios in Los Angeles in this one is probably one of the better ones I’ve ever been to. I can’t believe how good the pricing is on it for what you get. The room is immaculate, all the equipment is up-to-date and perfectly functioning, it’s easy to get into, it’s private, the sound inside the studio is incredible, the amenities are great. 1010 would recommend.

Spot was great. Rented it for a video shoot. Great gear, cool spot in a decent location. 3rd floor of a building right on Queen Street. Zack was super helpful and kind. Would definitely suggest and likely rent again if I need to record vocals or shoot a studio video again. Air conditioning was also a life saver. No loading elevator or anything so expect to do a leg workout if bringing up equipment. Thanks, Secret Weapon!

Pros and Cons of Recording Studio Venues in Orlando

Every recording studio has a vibe that may or may not match with the inner creative in you. Consider these pros and cons before finalizing a studio space in Orlando.

Advantage

  • If you are recording in Orlando, especially around Winter Park, you can take advantage of the local talent pool of audio engineers from Full Sail University.

  • Compared to other cities, most neighborhoods in Orlando have many budget offerings with professional-grade mixing/mastering facilities.

  • Independent musicians and music producers can learn a lot from Orlando's thriving music scene, known for its Latin music, indie rock, and jazz.

  • Places like Milk District and Universal Sound Studios offer many 24/7 spaces, catering to artists who work best outside the traditional 9-5 schedule.

Disadvantage

  • High demand and low venue count, relative to other cities, may lead to long waiting times and limited booking availability in some areas.

  • Heavy traffic and cramped parking spots can be a sore point if you or your team travels with heavy equipment or multiple vehicles.

  • Venues located near the city outskirts may have inconsistent acoustic quality, causing you to spend more money on post-production.

  • The heavy number of tourists visiting this town may take away from the quiet and peaceful experience most sound designers and musicians look for.

Choosing the Right Type of Location for a Recording Studio in Orlando

Getting the right location can be the difference between average and extraordinary output. Here are some inspirational picks off Giggster's 4 venues that you can look into.

Urban Recording Studios – Downtown Vibe. Looking for something that takes you closer to the Orlando music community? Rent a space near Church Street, Ivanhoe Village, or Downtown Orlando, where you can witness the urban vibe along with recording music and conduction shoots effortlessly.

Historic Venues – Character and Charm. Historic mansions, regal old buildings, and outdoor attractions that are set in the olden ages have a high potential to become a great studio. Find a historic recording studio in Orlando today.

Scenic Studios – Orlando's Speciality. Wikia Springs, Echo Grave, Lake Nona, and the Tibet-Butler Preserve are some of the best studio localities. Such spots are enriched with beautiful scenery and low ambient noise levels that will help you record audio clips with minimal distortion.

Modern Lofts – Personal and Sophisticated. Modern lofts close to the city center are another good alternative for recording studios. Such venues can also be used for photo shoots and private meetings with your clients. Some good neighborhoods for such spaces are the Milk District, Packing District, and Thornton Park.

Rooftop Spaces – Panoramic Views. Want to combine the energy of the city with stunning views? Look no further than rooftop spaces overlooking the Orlando Skyline or Lake Eola. A luxurious view coupled with in-house catering and bar features makes things highly convenient for music producers.
