Dallas is a populous city in the United States, coming in as the ninth largest with over 1.3 million people. It is also the third-largest city located in Texas. The metropolis got its start as an airport hub and plays home to the Cowboys football team but now contains a bustling oil and gas industry too.
Dallas is also known for its food, with a variety of Tex-Mex and barbecue restaurant options. The city is home to a number of Fortune 500 companies, making it a major center of business and commerce. The city's churches play an important role in the community, providing a place for worship and fellowship. They also provide ideal settings to host myriads of occasions, including weddings, performances, and workshops.
Church Event Options in Dallas
- Music

- Videographer
A videographer is tasked with recording all the special moments that happen during your church event, from the speeches to the dancing. It provides something for people who couldn't make it to the function to watch, and if applicable, the footage captured doubles as future promotional material.

Famous Locations in Dallas
- Whaling Wall
In 1999, world-renowned artist Robert Wyland came to Dallas to paint a mural on the back of a downtown building. This massive mural is the world's longest and largest, clocking in at 8 stories high and 164 feet long. The painting depicts six life-size humpback whales near a coral reef. As part of Wyland's "Whaling Walls" series--a global collection of 101 murals--the Dallas piece is located on the southwestern side of the 505 N. Akard Street parking garage in front of the North Field parking lot. After being covered up by various advertisements since 2005, the mural made its return in 2020. The Wyland Foundation estimates that his work has been seen by more than 600 million people worldwide.
- Salvation Army Building
The Salvation Army Building was a unique example of 1960’s garden-style office architecture. Architect Grayson Gill created the building to have a projecting screen of diamond-shaped panels, which allowed it to stand out against the more minimalist office buildings from the 1950s. This mid-century gem was in danger of being replaced by a newer development springing up near the building. In 2019, the building was sold and demolished to make way for a new one on-site; however, a section of the facade screen was donated to the city's Park and Recreation Department. There it will be reused in one of their parks.
- Northwest Park
Northwest Park is one of the most beautiful parks in Dallas County. The first thing you'll notice is the lush, green trees that provide plenty of shade on hot days. In the center of the park is a lake with a tiny bird island - it's a perfect spot for birdwatching. The park also features playgrounds, grills, benches, basketball courts, a walking trail, drinking fountains, and a weight room. There are eleven picnic tables and a picnic shelter, making it the perfect spot for a family gathering or picnic. The recreation center nearby has tennis courts and additional sports facilities.
