This spectacular Mid-century modern waterfront home is on Lake Sammamish, just 20 minutes from Seattle. On a hill and surrounded by woods and a stream, the home has a true getaway feel. The interior of the 2-story, 5 bed/5 bath home is filled with light and art, and window walls offer dramatic, treetop views of the lake and mountains. The home has an open floor plan with a vaulted ceiling and an artsy ambiance. Maple floors, contemporary furnishings, original wall art and sculptures add to a warm, lively feel. The great room, which overlooks the lake, features a granite, cherry and stainless kitchen, a spacious seating area with a semi-circular lavender sectional and a dining area with a balcony. A spiral staircase leads from the balcony to a terrace. A posh media lounge, through French doors in the foyer, has a fully outfitted 10-foot wet bar, dark leather sectional, 75” TV with 5.1 surround-sound and a games table nook, with a mauve carpet and black-and-white prints. The spacious main suite and a bunk room are also on this level. An open stairwell leads to the lower level and the family room, with a yellow sectional and 65" TV. There are three bedrooms on this level (including a suite), each with French doors leading to terraces and/or gardens. Outdoors, extensive Northwest-inspired gardens with pathways and a lawn surround three terraces that step down to the lake level, with 75 feet of natural waterfront and a 65-foot dock with boat lift. There's an expansive terrace alongside the lake, tiled with vintage dance floor tiles in various shades of blue. This terrace holds a dining table for 10 and a spacious, fenced-in herb and vegetable garden. Overlooking the lake, a renovated boathouse sports a bar and kitchenette, and a deck off the boathouse holds a fire table surrounded by outdoor furnishings. Alongside the boathouse, a flagstone patio has a teak table and pro grill. The property is extensively planted, with perennial borders surrounding the lawn and lush Northwest plantings throughout. Flagstone paths and steps lead to beautiful nooks and a tiny year-round stream. Additional features include a hot tub, kayaks and a canoe, a whole-house Sonos sound system and ultra high-speed Internet with an Eero mesh network. This remarkably unique waterfront property has been the setting for film and photo shoots by a wide range of companies, from Amazon and Google to national apparel companies, a multinational restaurant chain and a reality TV series, among others.
