AMAZING experience!!! This review is long overdue, I couldn't find how to add reviews but I wanted to do it the second I got home. I shot some scenes for a WWII film here at the trench here about four weeks ago. The people here are way, way beyond incredibly nice... they're excited about helping you, which was so refreshing. In the LA area, most people are like 'whatever, just another shoot' but here they really care about what you're doing. The communication is great and the services they have are top notch. Let me tell you what's included that other places don't have... - Free power - Make-up room - Base Camp with plenty of parking, tables, seating - Sub-camp at the foot of the shooting area with power - Free Wi-Fi - Bathrooms I shot at another location and had to pay for a generator. Then, bathrooms to be brought in at a 'deal' for almost $500 (no joke). Then, nothing else at the other location. Also, I know there are houses here so I emailed ahead of time to see if odd hours would be okay and they were like 'sure'! I needed 4p-3a and they were okay with that. They saved my production so much money doing that. The trench was really cool. That's the main thing of what we needed. It gives you just enough space to get a camera in there with your actors and you can shoot it from multiple angles where the background is covered with trees. I'm trying to think what else... I don't know think I'm doing enough to praise this location. It's just a really cool vibe there and, honestly, it reminded me of what filmmaking could be again. LA needs locations like this to keep our industry alive, where it's not just money or feeling ripped-off or a location that doesn't care. They're super uplifting and you'll have a great time here for sure. Thanks so much for having us!!
